The Lead Data Analyst will own and maintain the crosswalk framework, data model, and governance standards for clinical test data. They will also direct the work of other analysts to ensure technical soundness and support executive reporting on data quality.

Candidates must have 5+ years of experience in senior data analysis, governance, or architecture roles with strong SQL skills. Experience in healthcare or clinical laboratory environments and familiarity with Epic Beaker or similar systems is preferred.

Full description

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and maintain the overall crosswalk framework, data model, and comparison rules used to compare current-state (LTC) and future-state (Beaker) test data.
  • Define what constitutes test equivalency and what qualifies as a client-impacting change.
  • Establish and document crosswalk standards and data governance practices.
  • Define dashboard and reporting requirements in partnership with business stakeholders.
  • Direct and coordinate the work of the Current-State Data Analyst, Future-State Data Analyst, and Client Impact Analyst to ensure the framework is implementable and technically sound.
  • Support executive and cross-portfolio reporting on crosswalk methodology and data quality.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in a senior data analyst, data governance, or data architecture role.
  • Demonstrated experience designing data models, mapping/crosswalk frameworks, or master data management structures.
  • Strong SQL skills and experience working with large, multi-source datasets.
  • Experience translating ambiguous business requirements into clear data definitions and rules.
  • Excellent written communication skills; able to produce clear data dictionaries and standards documentation.
  • Comfortable operating with a high degree of independence in a fast-moving, cross-functional environment.

Preferred Skills & Experience

  • Prior experience in clinical laboratory, healthcare, or life sciences data environments.
  • Familiarity with laboratory information systems (LIS), particularly Epic Beaker and/or Soft/LTC.
  • Experience with Google BigQuery (GBQ) or comparable cloud data warehouse platforms.
  • Experience supporting large-scale system conversion or migration projects.
