We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to design, automate, integrate, and deploy mission-critical digital platforms across sovereign cloud, on-premises and hybrid environments.

You will work closely with Solution Architects, software engineers, infrastructure, network and cybersecurity teams to deliver scalable, secure and highly automated deployment and integration solutions.

This role combines system integration, DevOps, platform engineering and deployment automation responsibilities across the full project lifecycle from solution design and environment setup through integration validation and production deployment.

Responsibilities:

Platform Integration & Deployment Engineering

  • Design and implement scalable integration and deployment solutions across distributed systems and digital platforms.
  • Define and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, deployment and release workflows.
  • Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC), automation scripts and reusable deployment tooling.
  • Integrate software subsystems, middleware, APIs, messaging systems and third-party platforms.
  • Configure and support development, integration, QA, UAT and production environments.
  • Ensure deployment consistency, repeatability, and environment reproducibility across all stages.

DevOps & Operability

  • Support infrastructure provisioning and configuration using automation frameworks and cloud-native tooling.
  • Implement monitoring, logging, observability, backup and operational readiness best practices.
  • Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to integrate security controls, secrets management and compliance practices into deployment pipelines.
  • Troubleshoot complex deployment, infrastructure and integration issues across distributed environments.
  • Support release management, deployment validation, rollback procedures and site deployment activities.

Collaboration & Delivery

  • Partner with Solution Architects and engineering teams to define integration and deployment strategies.
  • Contribute to technical estimations, deployment planning and delivery execution activities.
  • Ensure software teams are aligned with infrastructure and operational constraints.
  • Produce and maintain technical documentation including deployment procedures, integration specifications, and operational guides.
  • Support transition from project delivery to operational readiness teams.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology or related discipline.
  • 5+ years of experience in DevOps, system integration, platform engineering, or cloud infrastructure delivery.
  • Strong collaboration and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in fast-paced and cross-functional engineering environments.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, GitLab CI/CD, Ansible, Linux administration
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), automation scripting, and deployment orchestration.
  • Experience working with APIs, middleware, networking, and distributed systems integration.
  • Familiarity with networking fundamentals including DNS, SSL, routing, NAT, VLANs and reverse proxies such as NGINX or HAProxy.
  • Experience with scripting languages such as Bash or Python.
  • Understanding of secure deployment practices including secrets management and SSH administration.
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical and communication skills.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as: Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud
  • Experience with Terraform, VMware, Grafana, Prometheus, ELK, FluentBit.
  • Experience implementing monitoring, alerting, and observability solutions.
  • Familiarity with DevSecOps and secure software delivery practices.
  • Understanding of high availability and resiliency concepts such as RPO, RTO and SLA management.
  • Exposure to Agile delivery methodologies and modern software engineering practices (SDLC).
  • Basic understanding of databases, clustering, and deployment architecture.
  • Development experience in Java, Go or C# is advantageous.
