About the Role
As an Operations Performance Analyst, you will work closely with department operators, Finance, and Human Resources to ensure an efficient workforce is met. Through analytics, you will utilize past performances, current trends, and budgets predict future labor models and customer satisfaction. This role will be reporting directly to the Director of Operations Analysis.
Role Responsibilities
- Add efficiency to our operational processes by refining, adjusting and fine tuning the operation with respect to payroll and other labor related costs.
- Responsible for the implementation and analysis of a labor management reporting system that measures actual labor hours versus standardized labor hours that are based on metrics and key business volume indicators.
- Ensures the timely preparation and delivery of periodic financial comparison reports related to labor efficiencies.
- Actively advise and provide guidance to the business units around scheduling, labor management and leave management.
- Forecasts volumes for operating departments to assist in properly scheduling to volumes.
- Meets with management on a consistent basis to review labor efficiency reports and agree on changes to schedules.
- Prepares reports and identifies trends and opportunities for cost reduction and revenue growth.
- Analyzing staffing data provided by department and Finance to ensure appropriate staffing levels.
- Work with department heads to adjust staffing models and approve schedule changes independently as necessary.
- Reviews policies, contractual agreements, procedures and functions to find areas for improvement.
- Maintains and evolves database materials essential to all labor analytics.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Essential Functions
- Exposure to casino related environmental factors including but not limited to secondhand smoke, excessive noise and hectic environments.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
- Must be able to stand for an entire shift and be able to move throughout the hotel area.
- Travel to/from work and on-site attendance to perform the position responsibilities and the essential functions of the job.
- College degree in Business Administration, Finance, Mathematics or related field or equivalent work experience.
- Proven professional experience in an analytics role.
- Working knowledge of statistical analysis.
- Proven knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Sequel.
- Comfortable in a results-driven and fast paced environment.
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively to find relevant insights.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.

- Our cash compensation amount for this role is $53,500 - $69,600 annually. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including experience and expertise and may vary from the amount listed above.
