Position Summary:

DCMA is seeking a temporary Cybersecurity Analyst to join its Information Security team within a fast-paced financial services environment.

Reporting to the Cybersecurity Manager, this role will support the day-to-day operation of the firm's cybersecurity program, including security monitoring, vulnerability management, identity and access management, incident response, security governance, and compliance activities. The successful candidate will work closely with technology teams, business stakeholders, auditors, and third-party service providers to help protect the organization's systems, networks, applications, and data.

This position is ideal for a recent graduate or early-career professional seeking broad exposure across cybersecurity operations, governance, risk management, and regulatory compliance within a highly regulated financial services environment.

Core Responsibilities:

• Monitor and investigate security alerts, events, and suspicious activity.
• Support cybersecurity incident response activities, including documentation, tracking, and remediation efforts.
• Assist with vulnerability management, including reviewing scan results and tracking remediation activities.
• Support identity and access management processes, including user provisioning, access reviews, and multi-factor authentication administration.
• Assist with security assessments of systems, applications, vendors, and technology projects.
• Support regulatory, audit, and compliance activities by gathering evidence and preparing reports.
• Maintain security policies, procedures, and operational documentation.
• Track and report on cybersecurity metrics, risks, incidents, and remediation activities.
• Research emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and security best practices.
• Identify opportunities to improve security processes and operational efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Basic understanding of cybersecurity concepts, networking, operating systems, and enterprise technology environments.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to learn quickly and work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Internship, co-op, or academic experience in cybersecurity, information technology, or risk management.
• Familiarity with Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Microsoft Entra ID, or security monitoring tools.
• Exposure to cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST Cybersecurity Framework, CIS Controls, or ISO 27001.
• Knowledge of basic networking concepts and common cybersecurity threats.
