This position is Remote to work with a US Company; you will require to have Citizenship or a work permit from Costa Rica to apply for this role.
Role summary
You will support the development and enhancement of a robust enterprise reporting ecosystem built on Azure SQL Server and Microsoft Azure services. This role focuses on data warehouse development, ETL integration, and data modeling to deliver reliable, scalable, and high-quality reporting solutions.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain data warehouse solutions to support enterprise reporting and analytics.
- Build and optimize ETL/ELT processes using SSIS, Azure Data Factory, and Microsoft Fabric.
- Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and data transformation processes.
- Support inbound and outbound data warehouse integrations for business-critical systems.
- Design and implement dimensional data models using Inmon and Kimball methodologies.
- Develop and maintain Azure SQL Server databases supporting reporting and analytics workloads.
- Ensure data quality, consistency, and integrity across reporting environments.
- Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
- Troubleshoot and optimize ETL processes and reporting performance.
- Document data models, ETL workflows, and integration processes following best practices.
Requirements – Must-haves
- Experience designing and supporting enterprise Data Warehouse solutions.
- Intermediate to advanced SQL skills focused on querying, optimization, and data transformation.
- Experience with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).
- Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF).
- Experience working with Microsoft Fabric.
- Experience developing solutions using Azure SQL Server.
- Solid understanding of dimensional modeling concepts.
- Experience applying the Inmon methodology for enterprise data warehouse and data mart design.
- Experience applying Kimball methodology, including facts, dimensions, and star schema modeling.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

- Experience developing dashboards and reports using Power BI.
- Experience with Qlik.
- Experience with Tableau.
- Experience optimizing enterprise reporting environments.
- Familiarity with Azure-based analytics and reporting architectures.
