About the Opportunity
We are looking for a talented and commercially minded Finance Analyst to join our Finance Data & Analytics team. This role combines financial analysis, business intelligence, and data analytics to support decision-making across our global operations.
Working with financial and operational data from SAP, Power BI, and enterprise reporting platforms, you will transform complex data into actionable insights, support strategic initiatives, and help drive continuous improvement across the business. You will partner closely with stakeholders across Finance and Operations to deliver high-quality analysis, reporting, and decision-support tools.
This position is based at our Global Head Office in East Tamaki and reports to the Finance Data & Analytics Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver insightful financial and operational analysis to identify trends, risks, opportunities, and support decision-making.
- Develop and enhance reporting, dashboards, and analytical tools to provide accurate, meaningful business insights.
- Partner with Finance, Operations, and Technology teams to improve reporting, data quality, and analytical capabilities.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, modelling, and strategic initiatives through robust analysis.
- Analyse large datasets from enterprise systems while ensuring reporting accuracy, integrity, and consistency.
- Drive automation, standardisation, data governance, and reporting best practices across the Finance function.
Skills & Experience
- CA qualified (or equivalent) preferred.
- 3-5+ years' experience in financial analysis, business intelligence, data analytics, or related finance roles.
- Advanced Excel skills, including Power Query, data modelling, and DAX.
- Experience with Power BI (or similar BI tools) and SQL.
- Exposure to SAP ERP or other enterprise systems.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and translate complex data into clear business insights.
- Experience with data warehouses, cloud analytics platforms, or modern data environments is advantageous.
