Control Support Engineer

Job Description

At a glance: As a Controls Support Engineer, you are a technical problem-solver for our customers. Your main tasks include quickly resolving system errors, tracking incidents, and coordinating with specialists when needed. Are you ready to dive in and support our customers? Your impact: In your role you go beyond just fixing the issue, you support in executing a root cause analysis and find ways to prevent it from happening again. You are the go-to person for high-level software issues and regularly communicate with both service teams and customers.

 You have a great impact in servicing our customers to meet customer satisfaction. You are not doing this on your own, as you have a great, supportive team who back you up!

 Further responsibilities for this position:

  • Manage incidents for our material handling systems
  • Log and process customer requests in our ITSM system
  • Collaborate with multiple teams and customers to resolve systems error
  • Analyze root causes of issues
  • Participate in weekend standby shifts

 

What makes you a great fit?

  • Technical background (prior technical experience is required; training on our specific systems will be provided)
  • Strong interest SQL, PLSQL and in ICT Infra
  • Experience reading logs (familiarity with Kibana or Splunk is a strong advantage)
  • Great communication skills in English
  • Willing to work in shifts with your team
  • Flexible and problem-solving attitude
  • Willingness to travel up to 30% (a driver’s license is plus)

This position offers a competitive salary range of €4000 to €4600 gross per month (excluding 8% holiday allowance). Through exceeding performance expectations, you even have the possibility to grow outside this scale.
