About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled DevOps Engineer to support, maintain, and evolve a critical pricing generation and distribution system for Fixed Income (FI) products.

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring platform reliability, improving deployment processes, driving automation initiatives, and supporting both cloud-native and legacy workloads. You will collaborate closely with development, architecture, and infrastructure teams to modernize the platform and enhance operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Platform Operations & Infrastructure

  • Manage and maintain Linux-based environments.
  • Support and troubleshoot containerized workloads using technologies such as Docker and Podman.
  • Investigate and resolve production incidents and platform issues.
  • Support hybrid deployments across private and public cloud environments.
  • Ensure platform stability, availability, and performance.

Automation & DevOps Engineering

  • Develop, maintain, and enhance automation scripts using Bash.
  • Design and improve CI/CD pipelines to streamline software delivery.
  • Contribute to infrastructure automation and operational efficiency initiatives.
  • Promote DevOps best practices across the platform ecosystem.

Monitoring & Observability

  • Maintain and enhance monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions.
  • Build and support dashboards and telemetry systems.
  • Proactively identify performance bottlenecks and reliability risks.
  • Improve observability capabilities to support business-critical applications.

Collaboration & Platform Modernization

  • Partner with software engineers, architects, and infrastructure teams on deployment and modernization initiatives.
  • Support the migration and transformation of legacy systems.
  • Contribute to platform improvement projects and cloud adoption strategies.

Qualifications

Required Skills & Experience

  • Strong hands-on experience administering and troubleshooting Linux environments.
  • Practical experience with container technologies such as Docker and Podman.
  • Advanced Bash scripting skills, including the ability to develop and maintain complex automation scripts.
  • Experience with AWS services and managing hybrid deployments across private and public cloud environments.
  • Strong understanding of networking fundamentals, including network interfaces, routing, connectivity, and performance troubleshooting.
  • Experience with CI/CD and automation tooling such as Jenkins, TeamCity, Ansible, or similar technologies.
  • Knowledge of monitoring and observability platforms such as Grafana, Prometheus, Loki, Tempo, or equivalent solutions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Delivery-oriented mindset with a focus on reliability and continuous improvement.
  • Professional level of English (written and spoken).

Nice to Have

  • Development experience in C# or Java, with an understanding of .NET or JVM-based applications.
  • Experience with application lifecycle management and operational support.
  • Knowledge of Linux CPU architecture, memory management, and performance tuning.
  • Experience migrating and modernizing large legacy platforms.
  • Experience designing and implementing complex deployment pipelines.
  • Experience managing and supporting self-hosted tooling and infrastructure services.
