Location: Reston, VA / Washington, D.C.

Work Arrangement: Hybrid – 1–2 days per week onsite

Position Overview

BizTech Fusion is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer with strong hands-on experience building modern, cloud-native applications using Python, React.js, Java, Spring Boot, AWS, and Microservices.

The ideal candidate will have experience developing complex cloud-native features and services, implementing automated testing and secure coding practices, participating in code reviews, and leveraging AI-assisted development tools to improve software delivery.

Key Responsibilities & Expectations

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack applications using Python, React, Java, and Spring Boot.
• Build and enhance cloud-native applications and services on AWS.
• Develop complex cloud-native features and distributed services.
• Design and implement microservices-based architectures.
• Develop and maintain modern APIs and backend services.
• Build responsive and scalable frontend applications using React.js.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps practices.
• Develop automated unit, integration, and other software testing solutions.
• Apply secure coding practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to software quality standards.
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools to improve development productivity and code quality.
• Work with Agile teams to analyze requirements, design solutions, and deliver production-ready software.
• Collaborate with architects, developers, QA teams, and other stakeholders.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and develop effective solutions.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with serverless AWS architectures.
• Experience with event-driven architectures and services.
• Experience developing highly scalable and highly available cloud-native systems.
• Experience with modern AI-assisted software development tools and workflows.

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Python and React.js.
• Strong experience with Java and Spring Boot.
• Hands-on AWS/cloud-native development experience.
• Experience with microservices architecture.
• Strong CI/CD experience.
• Experience developing automated tests.
• Experience with secure coding and software quality practices.
• Experience with code reviews.
• Experience with AI-assisted software development.
• Federal Government or comparable enterprise experience.
• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Important Note

U.S. Citizenship and eligibility to obtain and maintain an SEC Public Trust Clearance are mandatory requirements.

Candidates must be able to work onsite 1–2 days per week in Reston, VA or Washington, D.C.
