Position Summary 

 

We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented, and technologically savvy Business Analyst to join our Finance team. This role will support the department's primary mission of financial oversight and the delivery of accurate financial reporting, analysis, and actionable business intelligence to management. 

 

The ideal candidate is comfortable working with data, possess strong analytical skills, and has a genuine interest in leveraging technology to improve processes and decision-making. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to multiple areas of finance while helping drive innovation within the organization. 

 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Review, analyze, and report on key operational and financial metrics. 
  • Monitor and analyze external purchases, including sheets, boxes, and other key materials. 
  • Administer and oversee certain employee expense reimbursement systems.
  • Review employee expense reports for accuracy, compliance, and reporting purposes. 
  • Consolidate and analyze company-wide daily booking trends and performance metrics. 
  • Assist in the preparation and distribution of management reporting packages. 
  • Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting processes. 
  • Identify trends, variances, and opportunities for process and operational improvement through data analysis. 
  • Maintain reporting databases, spreadsheets, and reporting tools. 
  • Partner with other operational teams to gather, validate, and interpret data. 
  • Assist in developing dashboards, visualizations, and automated reporting solutions. 
  • Research and evaluate emerging technologies that can improve reporting efficiency and business insights. 
  • Participate in special projects and ad hoc analyses as assigned. 

 

 

 

 

Qualifications 

Required 

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related field (or expected completion within the current year). 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 
  • Advanced in Microsoft Excel, including complex formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis. 
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. 
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities. 
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. 

 

Preferred 

 

  • Familiarity with AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot 
  • Interest in process automation and technology-driven solutions. 
  • Internship or academic project experience involving financial analysis, reporting, or data analytics.
