This is the job

As a Senior Java Engineer, you will enhance existing Java applications while developing new features based on evolving business requirements. You will work closely with the customer and wider team across databases, messaging systems, application servers, containers, and infrastructure, using AI development tools to improve development speed and efficiency.

This is you

• 6+ years of professional Java development experience

• Strong hands-on experience with WildFly, JBoss or other Java application servers

• Solid experience with ORM technologies such as Hibernate and JPA

• Experience with RabbitMQ and other messaging or streaming technologies

• Practical experience with Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle Database

• Good understanding of containers, virtual machines, and infrastructure

• Hands-on experience with AI development tools such as AWS Kiro

• Proactive, self-driven, and collaborative approach

• Openness to occasional annual travel within Europe

• Good English communication skills

This is your role

• Design and implement new features and solutions aligned with business requirements.

• Improve existing Java applications and investigate and resolve technical issues.

• Use AI development tools to improve development speed and efficiency.

• Work with databases, messaging systems, containers, virtual machines, and infrastructure.

• Collaborate with customers and internal teams throughout solution delivery.

• Provide technical input to project and sales teams when needed.
