Full description

Zymr’s cybersecurity practice builds AI-native security software for security vendors, managed service providers, and enterprise security teams. We are expanding that practice with a senior product manager who can lead product definition in the exposure management space — continuous discovery, prioritization, and remediation of security exposure across an attack surface.

This is a definition-led role, not a delivery-management one. You will run customer and market discovery, decide which problems are worth solving and for whom, and turn that into requirements and roadmaps that engineering can build against. You will work alongside security practitioners, architects, engineering, and go-to-market teams.

Job Title: Product Manager - Cybersecurity

Location: Pune or Ahmedabad

Experience: 8+ years in product management

Education: Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.

Discovery and offering definition

  • Research the exposure management landscape — CTEM, attack surface management, vulnerability prioritization — and where AI meaningfully changes it.
  • Run discovery with security practitioners, service providers, and enterprise security teams; define personas, problem statements, and priority use cases.
  • Assess adjacent platforms and categories to identify gaps, overlaps, and points of differentiation.
  • Validate assumptions through demonstrations, proofs of concept, and pilot engagements.
  • Contribute to positioning, packaging, and pricing.

Product and roadmap

  • Define the minimum viable offering and maintain an outcome-oriented, phased roadmap.
  • Prioritize on customer value, differentiation, technical feasibility, and commercial potential.
  • Identify where AI and agentic AI improve exposure discovery, risk prioritization, investigation, and remediation guidance — and where they do not.
  • Translate objectives into requirements, user journeys, user stories, and acceptance criteria; partner with engineering, architecture, design, and QA through delivery.
  • Define success measures across adoption, security outcomes, analyst productivity, and commercial viability.

Service provider and multi-tenant needs

  • Understand how managed service providers operate security across many client environments at once.
  • Define multi-tenant capabilities: tenant-level visibility, configurable workflows, integrations, reporting, and role-based access.
  • Convert client-specific requests into reusable product capabilities rather than bespoke implementations.

Stakeholder engagement

  • Present concepts, roadmap priorities, and demonstrations to technical and business audiences.
  • Support design-partner programs, pilots, early adoption, and enablement.

Required

  • 8+ years in product management, the majority of it on cybersecurity products — vendor, platform, or managed security.
  • Deep working knowledge of one or two enterprise security platforms end to end: users, workflows, integrations, data sources, and the security outcomes they are measured on.
  • Fluency in exposure management concepts and how they relate to CNAPP, XDR, identity security, and Zero Trust.
  • Practical understanding of LLMs and agentic AI applied to enterprise security use cases.
  • A track record of taking ambiguous opportunities through to validated, shipped product.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.

Preferred

  • Experience building for or selling through MSPs/MSSPs.
  • Background in security operations, SOC, or cybersecurity consulting.
  • Experience with design-partner programs, service packaging, pricing, or SLAs.
