Data Scientist / Digital Tech Analyst

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Data Scientist / Digital Tech Analyst based in Brazil.

This role offers the opportunity to work at the intersection of data, technology, and business transformation. You will design and deliver analytics solutions that turn complex operational data into reliable, actionable insights. The position combines strong SQL development, data modeling, ETL processes, reporting, and hands-on troubleshooting. You will work directly with customers and multidisciplinary teams across Brazil, the United States, and India. Your work will help improve data quality, operational stability, reporting capabilities, and decision-making. Accountabilities

• Partner with project leadership to understand customer requirements and translate business needs into clearly defined technical solutions.

• Develop, test, deploy, and support data analytics deliverables, ensuring they meet functional and technical expectations.

• Design and optimize relational database structures and develop high-performance SQL queries, views, and stored procedures.

• Follow established data architecture standards with an emphasis on supportability, consistency, reusability, usability, and error prevention.

• Apply standardized ETL processes to onboard new datasets while validating data completeness, quality, consistency, and lineage.

• Work directly with customers to investigate data issues end-to-end across ETL, integration, and reporting processes, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.

• Develop and maintain dashboards, operational reports, and other data visualizations that support business and operational needs.

• Create and maintain technical documentation, process guides, runbooks, and standard operating procedures to support stable operations and effective knowledge transfer.

• Collaborate with distributed teams across Brazil, the United States, and India to ensure consistent processes, knowledge sharing, and reliable delivery.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on SQL skills, including query development and optimization, as well as experience creating stored procedures.

• Good written and verbal English communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in an international environment.

• Experience developing data visualizations, dashboards, and operational reports.

• Solid understanding of relational database concepts and fundamental data modeling principles.

• Ability to investigate data-quality and integration issues methodically, identify root causes, and implement practical solutions.

• Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to translate customer and business requirements into technical solutions and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Experience working with ETL processes, data integration, and data-quality validation is highly desirable.

• Experience with Snowflake is a plus.

• Intermediate Python skills for data processing and automation are desirable.

• Knowledge of ERP data and business processes is an advantage.

• Experience or domain knowledge in manufacturing and/or supply chain environments is a plus.
