We're looking for a Senior Ruby on Rails Engineer to join our engineering team and help design, build, and scale the core services that power our platform. You'll work on business-critical features, backend architecture, API development, payment integrations, and cloud infrastructure while collaborating closely with product managers, designers, and fellow engineers.
This is a hands-on engineering role with significant ownership. You'll participate in architectural decisions, drive technical improvements, optimize application performance, and contribute to the evolution of a modern, scalable platform serving a growing customer base. We value clean, maintainable code, thoughtful engineering practices, and a pragmatic approach to solving complex technical challenges.

7+ years of professional experience with Ruby and Ruby on Rails;
Strong experience designing and maintaining production Rails applications;
Solid understanding of PostgreSQL, query optimization, and database design;
Experience with Sidekiq or similar background job frameworks;
Experience building REST APIs; GraphQL experience is a strong plus;
Experience integrating third-party APIs and payment systems;
Familiarity with Docker and cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred);
Experience working with Git-based development workflows and CI/CD;
Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization skills;
Excellent communication skills in English.
Nice to Have:
Experience with Domain-Driven Design (DDD);
Experience working with event-driven or service-oriented architectures;
AWS services such as Lambda, S3, ECS, RDS, or SQS;
Data engineering experience (Athena, Glue, data warehouses, analytics pipelines);
Experience with Terraform or infrastructure automation;
Exposure to AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot or Claude Code.
