JOB SUMMARY
We are looking for a PMO Team Manager (Studio Delivery) to lead the end-to-end delivery of new studios and renovations. In this role, you will own the full delivery process, ensuring that all project dependencies are completed on time and that studio go-live dates are met without delays.
You will directly manage the R&D and Tech Ops teams and coordinate closely with Construction, Video, external designers, contractors, and vendors.
Your scope will cover everything from studio design, construction, and decoration to equipment development, technology installation, commissioning, and operational handover.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Directly manage the R&D and Tech Ops Team Leads, providing direction, coaching, and performance management.
- Set priorities, resource allocation, and headcount plans for R&D and Tech Ops in line with the studio delivery roadmap.
- Conduct regular 1:1s and performance reviews with R&D and Tech Ops Team Leads, supporting effective team management and development practices.
- Own hiring, onboarding, and development planning for R&D and Tech Ops in partnership with HR/Talent Acquisition.
- Plan and support the transition of Tech Ops to Studio Crystal, ensuring continuity of studio delivery throughout the transition.
- Own the studio delivery roadmap for new studios and renovations, setting priorities and allocating resources across all studio dependencies.
- Manage project budgets and timelines across design, construction, decoration, equipment development, technology installation, and commissioning.
- Coordinate cross-functional workstreams, resolve dependencies and risks, and ensure projects remain on track for planned go-live dates.
- Monitor project activities across all workstreams to ensure compliance with operational, technical, quality, safety, and regulatory requirements.
- Analyze project progress and implement necessary adjustments to scope, timelines, or budgets to meet project requirements.
- Optimize and improve studio delivery processes and workflows, identifying opportunities to increase efficiency and control costs.
- Prepare and manage budgets across R&D, Tech Ops, Construction, and other studio workstreams, tracking expenses and implementing cost-control measures.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including budgets, timelines, risk registers, and progress reports.
- Ensure the proper storage and management of construction and technical materials in the designated warehouse, including material receipt and withdrawal, related documentation, and system registration.
- Coordinate closely with Construction, Video, external interior designers, contractors, vendors, and other stakeholders across studio design, construction, decoration, equipment development, technology installation, commissioning, and operational handover.
- Serve as the primary point of contact between R&D, Tech Ops, Construction, Video, external designers, vendors, and other key stakeholders, ensuring clear alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
- Lead regular cross-functional project meetings, providing progress updates, coordinating next steps, and addressing issues, dependencies, and concerns.
- Communicate project progress, key risks, decisions, and proposed solutions clearly to colleagues, direct managers, and relevant stakeholders.
- Ensure a smooth transition from project delivery to live operations while minimizing disruption and maintaining compliance with all applicable health, safety, operational, and regulatory requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in project management, Construction Management, Engineering or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience managing large-scale, multi-disciplinary studio, technical, or product delivery projects, ideally in studio, hospitality, entertainment, or commercial environments.
- 2+ years of people management experience, including leading managers or team leads.
- Proven experience managing end-to-end project lifecycles, from design and planning through construction, technology installation, and commissioning, in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments.
- Proficiency in project management tools such as Jira, MS Office, scheduling, and cost-tracking systems.
- Strong organizational, leadership, communication, problem-solving, risk management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects, dependencies, team leads, cross-functional teams, contractors, vendors, other stakeholders.
- Professional working proficiency in English and Georgian.
PREFERRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Experience in live casino, gaming, hospitality, or similar construction and technology projects.
- Knowledge of building codes, permits, regulation and technical design tools such as AutoCAD or Revit.
- Experience in cost estimation, procurement, vendor management, contract negotiation, and managing complex, high-pressure projects with minimal operational disruption.
