Why Join Us

We are looking for an experienced Regional Engineering Manager to lead and manage our mobile and on-site engineering teams across a diverse office and data centre estate. This high-impact role is responsible for the planning, delivery and governance of all facilities maintenance and project engineering activities—ensuring safe, compliant, and reliable operations across the client portfolio.

You will drive engineering performance, shape asset care strategy, support capital projects, and act as a key technical authority for both ISS and the client. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive leader with strong technical expertise and a passion for operational excellence.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Develop and implement a robust asset care strategy to improve engineering performance across the regional estate.
  • Lead and coach engineering teams, ensuring they have the training, knowledge and competency to meet technical and legislative requirements.
  • Manage all mechanical, electrical, power, water, heating/cooling and structural engineering activities across assigned sites.
  • Take a lead role in the delivery and coordination of engineering capital projects.
  • Provide guidance on the design, procurement and implementation of utilities and engineering equipment.
  • Prepare, manage and monitor engineering budgets, ensuring spend aligns with business expectations.
  • Create, maintain and continuously improve safe engineering procedures, including risk assessments, method statements and SOPs.
  • Ensure all engineering documentation is accurate, up to date and compliant.
  • Oversee and respond to all critical engineering incidents, ensuring timely communication with both client and ISS management.
  • Collaborate with client site leads to agree service levels and monitor performance against SLAs.
  • Act as a champion of safety, compliance and engineering governance across the estate.

What We're Looking For

Essential Qualifications

  • City & Guilds or HND in a Mechanical or Electrical Engineering discipline
  • IOSH qualification

Experience & Skills

  • Proven experience delivering engineering services in a corporate environment
  • Strong background in maintenance strategy for facilities engineering
  • Excellent communication, organisational and stakeholder management skills
  • Demonstrable project management experience
  • Strong leadership and people management capability
  • Proficient user of Microsoft Office
  • Financial acumen with the ability to interpret Profit & Loss accounts
