In your new role, ensure secure, reliable and cost-effective applications are planned, developed and delivered to meet current and future business requirements taking into account organisational objectives and imperatives, operational requirements, value considerations, compliance and governance across Australian and New Zealand jurisdictions.
Your key accountabilities include:
● Lead, manage and develop a team of specialist applications/ solutions delivery professionals
● Lead partnering activity to the business (and dealers as appropriate) ensuring effective internal consultancy and the development of technology roadmaps and service levels for business technology/ applications delivery
● Prioritise and schedule application initiatives including based on business value, strategic alignment, risk, and resource availability
● Ensure effective implementation plans, change management, governance and incident/ problem rectification management for approved delivery projects
● Research and champion best practices such as in enterprise architecture, integration, and data management.
● Act as final technical escalation in relation to application/ solution delivery
● Undertake analysis activity, support requirements gathering and project governance activity to uplift business capability
● Ensure solutions and services are fit for purpose and delivered in line with relevant legislation/ regulation, policy (including security and data considerations), agreed service levels and ITIL best practices
● Consult with infrastructure, cybersecurity, and support teams to ensure stable operations
● Manage third party supplier relationships to contract parameters
● Undertake oversight and monitoring and provide a range of reporting to schedule and ad hoc, such as but not limited to status updates, vendor performance, project governance
● Undertake a range of continuous improvement activity such as but not limited to; proposals for consolidation, integration, modernization, or retirement, new/ changed solutions or increased efficiency or service quality, promotion of ITSM tool and automation technology adoption, remediation of unsatisfactory delivery/ solution/ system trends
● Lead and manage EIT projects with appropriate governance to agreed parameters and represent EIT in cross company project/ initiatives
● Oversee budget planning and financial management related to application services
To be successful in the position you will be an Australian citizen/ resident or already have approved permanent and unrestricted right to work in Australia. Your profile would likely include:
● Tertiary qualification in IT (or commensurate experience)
● Project management certification (highly desirable)
● Substantial senior level experience in a similar role, with a particular focus on business partnering/ consultancy and successful senior technical level solution/ application delivery experience
● Significant people leadership and management experience
● Substantial business partnering experience combined with complex project leadership and management experience
● Applied technical and operational knowledge of Kubota relevant systems (X2 Dealer Portal, Zendesk, Netsol, retail Finance, CRM and M365 technologies), evolving developments in technology and business systems and proven ability to identify, assess, recommend and implement appropriate solutions and services
● Experience in solution/enterprise architecture and business analysis (highly regarded)
● Highly developed problem solving and technical trouble-shooting skills
● Vendor management exposure
● Highly developed communication skills including experience in business case/ proposal writing and reporting
● Senior level relationship management, negotiation/ influencing and interpersonal skills
● Applied understanding of ITSM tools and automation technology, risk management approaches, relevant legislation/ regulation, policy, procedure and protocols
● Demonstrated planning and organisational skills
● Demonstrated customer centricity
