Rest’s Data, Technology and Delivery (DTD) business unit is accountable for planning and preparing the
organisation for the future through strategic technology innovation, as well as charting our business
strategy and executing for today and tomorrow.
Situated in the Business Analysis Practice, the Senior Business Analyst has two main priorities:
1. Supporting the Product Owner/Business Owner/Sponsors to ensure that business needs and
solutions options are understood
2. Ensuring the product/platform/project team have a shared understanding of the requirements,
through written and verbal communication.
- Proven experience working in mature Agile environments with  a demonstrated ability to thrive in fast-paced, dynamic delivery teams where priorities can evolve quickly.
- Strong knowledge of Whole‑of‑Fund portfolio concepts, with hands‑on experience delivering initiatives across asset allocation, rebalancing, and overlay strategy implementations.
- Solid understanding of superannuation investment operating models, including fund structures, governance frameworks, and key stakeholder groups.
- Experience with FX and derivative instruments, including their application in hedging and portfolio management.
- Proven ability to document current state and define future state, facilitate workshops, and translate business needs into clear requirements and solution designs.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree
- IIBA® or similar industry standard certification preferred.
- Required experience, understanding or credentials including:
- Business domain knowledge in superannuation or financial services desirable
- Ability to understand business functionality, business complexity and interdependencies
- Ability to develop compelling business cases with accurate cost and effort estimations
- Highly developed strategic, analytical, problem solving, issues management and evaluation skills to deliver innovative solutions
