Position Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated Data Engineer with strong expertise in Snowflake Databricks Python and SQL to design develop and support scalable data and analytics solutions The ideal candidate will have experience building data pipelines optimizing largescale data processing workloads and developing cloud native applications that support business critical reporting analytics and operational processes
Key Responsibilities
- Design develop and maintain scalable data solutions using Snowflake and Databricks
- Build and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines for structured and unstructured data processing
- Develop high-quality Python applications automation scripts APIs and data integration services
- Write complex SQL queries stored procedures views and performance tuned data transformations
- Implement data models data quality controls validation frameworks and reconciliation processes
- Collaborate with business analysts data engineers architects and application teams to deliver end-to-end solutions
- Monitor troubleshoot and optimize data pipelines and application performance
- Support CICD deployments testing release management and production support activities
- Ensure solutions meet security governance audit and regulatory requirements
- Contribute to cloud modernization initiatives and data platform enhancements
Required Skills Qualifications
- Strong experience with Snowflake Data Cloud
- Hands-on experience with Databricks and Apache Spark
- Advanced Python programming skills Pandas Pyspark NumPy REST APIs
- Expert level SQL development and query optimization
- Experience building ETLELT solutions and data pipelines
- Good understanding of data warehousing dimensional modeling and data lake architecture
- Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure AWS or GCP
- Knowledge of Git CICD pipelines and Agile development practices
- Experience troubleshooting performance issues across databases and distributed environments
- Experience with Snowpark Cortex AI or Databricks AI capabilities
- Knowledge of orchestration tools such as Airflow or Azure Data Factory
- Familiarity with Kafka streaming data or event driven architectures
- Experience with Power BI Tableau or other analytics reporting platforms
- Understanding of financial services or enterprise data platforms
- 5+ years of software application development experience
- 3+ years of experience with Snowflake and cloud based data platforms
- 2+ years of hands-on Databricks Spark development experience
- Proven track record delivering largescale data and analytics solutions
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Passion for automation performance optimization and continuous improvement.
The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: 79,000 to 101,000.
Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws. The base compensation range listed for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation Capgemini, in good faith, believes it may pay for the role at the time of this posting. This range may be subject to change as permitted by law.
The actual compensation offered to any candidate may fall outside of the posted range and will be determined based on multiple factors legally permitted in the applicable jurisdiction.

It is not typical for candidates to be hired at or near the top of the posted compensation range.
In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for additional compensation such as variable incentives, bonuses, or commissions, depending on the position and applicable laws.
