Responsibilities
- Lead and manage utility relocation projects from planning through execution, ensuring delivery within approved scope, budget, quality, and timelines.
- Coordinate with utility providers, local authorities, consultants, contractors, and clients to obtain approvals and facilitate project implementation.
- Develop and monitor project schedules, resource plans, and recovery actions to ensure project milestones and contractual obligations are achieved.
- Oversee relocation works involving electrical, water, sewerage, telecommunications, gas, and other utility infrastructure.
- Manage project budgets, cost control, variation orders, and commercial performance to achieve financial targets.
- Ensure compliance with Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental (QHSE) requirements, statutory regulations, and company standards.
- Lead stakeholder engagement and resolve technical, operational, and project-related issues to maintain project progress and client satisfaction.
- Coach and develop project teams while fostering a high-performance, safety-focused, and collaborative working environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, Infrastructure Engineering, or equivalent fields.
- Minimum 12 years of working experience, including at least 7-10 years in utility relocation, infrastructure, M&E/MEE, highway, rail, or related project management.
- Strong experience in managing utility stakeholders and authorities such as utility asset owners, government agencies, local councils, consultants, and contractors.
- Proven leadership, project management, commercial, and stakeholder management skills, with Professional Engineer (PE) registration and/or PMP certification considered an added advantage.
