Technology Lead - IOS Developer

Job Description

Infosys is seeking a IOS Developer. This position will interface with key stakeholders and apply technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition and Design; play an important role in creating the high level design artifacts; deliver high quality code deliverables for a module, lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition and warranty. Required Qualifications :• Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Calgary, AB/ Burnaby, BC or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel.

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 7 years of Information Technology experience.

Preferred Qualification:• At least 7 years of experience in iOS Development

• At least 7 years of experience in Swift and Objective-C programming languages
• Design and build applications for the iOS platform and managed app on Appstore.
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Collaborate with a team to define, design, and ship new features.
• Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
• Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization.
• Publishing application on App Store.
• Knowledge of Memory Management, Concurrency programming in ios.
• Proficient in Objective-C, Swift, and Cocoa Touch.
• Extensive experience with iOS Frameworks such as Core Data and Core Animation.
• Knowledge of iOS back-end services.
• Knowledge of Apple’s design principles and application interface guidelines.
• Proficient in code versioning tools including Mercurial, Git, and SVN.
• Knowledge of C-based libraries.
• Familiarity with push notifications, APIs and cloud messaging.
• Experience with continuous integration

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email, or face to face. Extensive travel may be required as per client and project needs.

Estimated annual compensation range for the candidate based in the below location will be: British Columbia: $ 90450 to $ 136500 EEO/About Us
