Title: Senior Product Manager - PSPS (Public Safety Power Shutoff) Product Manager
Location: Oakland CA (Hybrid)
rate: 110k - 130k annually
5 months project with possibility of extension
Only local candidates only (near Oakland, San Ramon, Dublin etc.) who can join collaborative workshops seamlessly.
The role is hybrid. Mostly the team works remotely. Expected to work 2-3 days every week out of an office as needed (can be San Ramon, OGO etc.)

EQUIPMENT: A client laptop will be provided (a client phone may potentially be provided). In case of delays, vendor/personal device may potentially be needed. Any other tools must be vendor-provided or personal.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
PSPS (Public Safety Power Shutoff) Product Manager is responsible to work with Distribution Engineers, Distribution Program Leads, PSPS IT team, PSPS Product Managers and PMO team to maintain and enhance current state of PSPS Scoping products and support the Go Live of PSPS/ADMS module.
- Rapidly develop a strong understanding of scoping products, business processes, and stakeholder requirements to support product development and operational initiatives.
- Contributes to the Product Roadmap and Product Backlog (Excel based)
- Coordinates with stakeholders to define technology business outcomes for assigned business areas
- Contributes to business process improvements and product prioritization
- Create detailed feature requirements (Wiki/Other) for prioritized features. Single point of contact to communicate feature requirements to IT
- Facilitate and performs UAT (user acceptance testing), support end-to-end business testing (pre-FSE, pre-season, in-season)
- Participate in product demos and support training as needed.
- Support EOC/PSPS for assigned product area if issues arise
The Product Management role is part of a matrix organization with the Product Manager as a subject-matter and content expert for the assigned product line.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Business, Economics, Marketing, Psychology, or related field
5 - 7 Years of relevant experience in Product Management Experience in project management
Experience working in a large, matrixed organization
Desired Qualifications:
Experience working with a sales staff marketing products to commercial or industrial customers Experience in the energy efficiency or utility industry Master's degree in Business or Marketing
Demonstrated superior oral and written communication skills
