Job Summary
The Data Management Analyst is responsible for acquiring data from new and existing system integrations to grow Waterton’s data platform, including data source analysis, data ingestion, transformations and modeling. Additionally, this role partners with business stakeholders to turn complex requirements into reliable data sets and reporting solutions while maintaining strong standards for data accuracy and governance.
How you will contribute to our team:
- Play a key role in the successful rollout of Microsoft Fabric’s data architecture, including transitioning all data components from ADF to Fabric.
- Drive the end-to-end onboarding process for new data sources into Waterton’s centralized data platform.
- Design, build, and optimize advanced Power BI semantic models to support self-service analytics and enterprise reporting.
- Develop and implement automated testing frameworks to continuously validate data pipelines and ensure data accuracy.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of data sources, data lineages, business glossaries, and transformation logic.
- Collaborate with business leaders to identify reporting and data opportunities that support new or ongoing business objectives.
- Proactively seek to improve existing processes and drive innovative approaches.
- Define project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility with agreed-upon business requirements.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in analytics, data, or a related field.
- Write complex queries, joins, and aggregations to analyze and extract data from relational databases.
- Fully understand data warehousing principles spanning data acquisition, ingestion, transformation and modeling.
- Prior experience in Power BI or another visualization software is required.
- Experience in Microsoft Fabric is preferred.
- Curious, analytical, and proactive mindset, demonstrating ownership, sound judgment, and a commitment to continuous learning and technical growth.
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills, with a strong grasp of analytic and technical concepts and the ability to explain them to others.
- Team player with a collaborative spirit who can also work independently as needed.

The typical base salary hiring range for this role is $70,000.00-$100,000.00 per year, plus bonus program participation.
The pay range is base pay only and does not include any additional compensation or bonuses that this position may be eligible for. The pay range is approximate, and the actual pay may vary depending on related work experience, certifications, education, and other job related factors.
