Overview

The MENA firm currently offers a broad range of consulting and transactional services to a broad range of B2B, B2C and B2G clients. We are now seeking to provide an additional value proposition via Project and Development Services. This will be a dynamic role, working across geographies, collaborating with existing service lines to build a new vertical. You will be expected to develop business, ensure the very best client outputs and the recruitment of a market leading team.

Responsibilities

  • Building the P&DS Business in UAE:
  • Co-ordinate pitches and to ensure a compelling

and impactful proposition.

  • Assist in Developing research / marketing

material to define your region’s market position.

  • Promote P&DS business region on social

media in coordination with the Knight Frank Marketing Team.

  • Support in UAE Business Development strategy

in collaboration with the Head of P&DS MENA.

  • Takes active role in the growth of UAE P&DS

Business, in line with the growth targets agreed with Head of P&DS.

  • Support

in Identification in potential business leads and opportunities in line with the UAE P&DS business plan and objectives and actively manages pipeline.

  • In collaboration with Head of P&DS and

Marketing Team prepares appropriate marketing collateral for UAE P&DS region.

  • Contributes to strategic direction of

P&DS UAE.

  • Supports staff in timely issue of Performance

Management processes and collaborates with Head of P&DS UAE to carry out moderation of results and compilation of overall performance summaries and data analysis.

  • Promotes a client-centric culture monitors

service delivery standards and client feedback with a view to identifying any real or perceived shortfalls in service delivery. Engages with Head of P&DS UAE to assist in determining any corrective measures required to ensure that these are implemented.

  • Work with the Head of P&DS UAE and the

Marketing Team to continuously improve the pitching documents and presentations, marketing material and product marketing strategies to provide the best product in the region for both domestic and international sales.

that make the business a success leading to high scores in the Your View survey around Brand Pride and Credibility – 60%+.

  • Be a leading voice in the industry as a part

  • Manage the day-to-day operational aspects of

the project(s) “end to end” and overview your team’s projects and ensure client satisfaction on all projects.

  • Lead the team to deliver accurate, timely,

and compliant project deliverables.

  • Deliver to the scope of services as

contracted with Client’s whilst managing the firm’s exposure.

  • Keep abreast of regulatory changes affecting

development requirements to take advantage of or compensate for the changes which may impact projects.

  • Manage all Design, construction, scheduling,

commercial, procurement, risk, Health and safety management activities conducted by the team.

  • Manage on all Procurement Activities

including pre-qualification, tendering and evaluation.

  • Actively lead/ Participate in Contracts

management and Scope management

  • Handle tracking of Material and Equipment

ordering & delivery status

  • Review Progress Billings and reports by all

project stakeholders.

  • Review Change Orders in parallel with the

Project commercial management.

  • Prepare documents for uploading in project

document controlling platforms and Manage all DC systems in association with Team assigned DC.

  • Manage Close Out Documentation & O&M

  • Manage/ participate in all QA/QC procedures

set forward by project lead.

  • Manage and update project logs, issue client

reports

  • Make sure all suitable meeting minutes are

captured.

  • Manage/Work closely with clients, design

teams and contractors to optimize solutions,

  • Demonstrate excellent verbal, numerical and

report writing skills,

  • Demonstrate flexibility and can

work to deadlines,

  • Demonstrate expert use with word, Excel,

power point and other Microsoft Office programs to an advanced level,

  • Demonstrate experience of project procurement

and differing routes available,

  • Demonstrate a track record in delivering high

quality services from inception to completion,

  • Manage pre contract Scope including;

reviewing Design drawings, technical specification, sections of BOQs, handle tender query responses, manage the PQQ process with support and input into value engineering at each design stage,

  • Manage post contract including being strong

in construction management and progress tracking, contract administration, comfortable on site walks with project teams, prepare weekly reports, draft monthly reports and weekly dashboards.

Skills and Qualifications

• Minimum of a Degree Qualification in Construction Management, Engineering, Planning, Architecture, Project management or equivalent. Preference to hold a Master’s degree in similar fields.

  • Professional memberships are an advantage but

not essential (PMP, CIOB, C.Eng).

  • 8 to 10 years’ experience in similar

industry, at least 5 years in the Middle East.

  • Major international project experience is

essential.

  • Must have PMC/PMO experience within a

reputable PMC International firm.

  • Excellent written and verbal skills with a

fluent proficiency in English. Arabic proficiency would be a plus.

  • Ability to understand all aspects of Construction,

Project management, Cost Management, Design and Engineering effectively and efficiently from initiation to completion.

  • Broad background of project management.
  • Extensive experience to manage complex and

mixed use projects on a global level.

  • Great people management skills with an

ability to interact with executive level external and internal clients.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

with different international cultures.

  • Ability to travel, domestic or international,

as required.

  • Strong leadership and employee management

skills.

  • Knows how to effectively structure, staff and

manage projects and teams to insure there is clarity of expectation, timely execution, corrective action when needed and successful outcomes.

  • Has a structured approach to problem solving

with a natural inclination for planning strategy and tactics. Drives to fix the ultimate root causes to drive sustainable change.

  • Fluent English speaker and Arabic would be a

plus.
