We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time Senior Business System Analyst to join our IT team in Langley, BC.  

Reporting to the Sr. Manager, Application Support, you will be responsible for leading business analysis across enterprise initiatives from ideation through to solution delivery, translating business needs into structured requirements, and ensuring that solutions are delivered in alignment with intended business outcomes while collaborating with stakeholders to support successful project execution and value realization.

You will be responsible for:

  • Leading requirements discovery, documentation, and validation independently.
  • Engaging business stakeholders to define outcomes, priorities, and success metrics.
  • Developing artifacts including user stories, process flows, system context diagrams, and specifications.
  • Evaluating solution options, including vendor selection and build-versus-buy decisions.
  • Supporting the delivery lifecycle through backlog refinement, testing alignment, and solution validation.
  • Acting as the solution lead and product owner for assigned initiatives, guiding implementation, prioritizing needs, and supporting the solution after go-live.
  • Performing data analysis using SQL and Excel to drive insights and support decision-making.
  • Influencing decisions by balancing business needs, risks, and technical feasibility.
  • Supporting business readiness, adoption, and change management initiatives.

You have:

  • A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Economics, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of business analysis experience within enterprise IT environments.
  • Experience across application delivery, project lifecycle, and quality assurance.
  • Strong skills in requirements modeling, stakeholder engagement, and structured analysis.
  • Strong process modelling capability, including the ability to map current and future state processes, identify gaps, and recommend improvements.
  • Experience with Agile or hybrid delivery models.
  • An understanding of system integration and enterprise application architecture.
  • Experience with supply chain, retail, or finance systems is considered an asset.

$96,443.00 - $120,554.00The compensation offered for this position will take into consideration location, education, skills, experience and other factors.
