Project Manager People Function
We are seeking a Project Manager People Function to join our team at Marsh. This role will be based in Mexico City. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office. As the Project Manager People Function, you will lead initiatives and coordinating projects proactively, advising and providing guidance to People Managers without oversight in most situations within the country’s businesses supported across the full range of activities in the HR portfolio including:
We will count on you to:
- Lead and implement projects, driving them from conception to completion.
- Apply Project Manager skills ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Handles and, when required, takes the lead in rollout and delivery of HR programs in-region and contributes to process improvements
- Collaborate with HR colleagues in multiple locations and be required to take formal responsibilities required by statute or local market practice
- Provides local business or country insights to inform CoEs or People Partners who may be developing strategic solutions to support workforce planning, succession or performance management.
- Coordinates necessary activity to support People Managers and affected colleagues during restructuring activity including planning and execution of consultations with colleagues about changes affecting roles or terms of employment.
- Ensures that regulatory and statutory obligations are discharged locally including works council accountabilities and statutory and/or regulatory reporting requirements.
- Consults with People Partners and CoEs to determine best practices, continuously improving delivery methods, and especially considering regional or country-specific nuances to guide the delivery of local implementation
- Counsels and supports peers and less experienced HR Managers as required to ensure that the team delivers a consistent and high-quality service across all locations for which it is responsible; if requested, coaches and/or manages less experienced HR Managers.
What you need to have:
- 6+ years of experience in Project Management leading end-to-end projects
- Ability to foster collaboration and build relationships across various teams and stakeholders.
- Strong analytical skills with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
- Accountability , ownership, change management and organizational effectiveness.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Advanced level on English is a must
