🎤 Why voize? Because we’re more than just a job!
At voize, we believe the greatest gift to frontline workers is time - time to care, connect, and be present. Today, that time is lost to busywork and complex systems that pull them away from what matters most: people.
Our vision is to change that by building AI companions that seamlessly take over digital workflows. We don’t replace humans with technology - we amplify their impact.
Our mission is backed with a $50M Series A funding led by Balderton Capital, with support from HV Capital, Y Combinator and other leading VCs. Today, 2,000+ facilities trust voize, and over 200,000 users rely on our AI companion to ease their daily workload.
As a dynamic team, we combine first-in-class technology with meaningful social impact. And now, we’re looking for you to join us on this mission!
💡 Your Mission: One source of truth for a company that runs on data
As Senior Analytics Engineer, you own voize's company data from the warehouse to the dashboards. You'll be part of our Data & AI function - ensuring the data voize and our AI layer runs on are reliable, safe & scalable. The modern stack (Redshift, dbt, Fivetran, Lightdash) is already live: you make it rock-solid and turn it into the single source of truth the whole company runs on, from ARR to product adoption. As our first dedicated analytics hire, you partner directly with Finance, RevOps, Product, and Customer Success, turning their questions into numbers everyone trusts.
🚀 Your Daily Business - No two days are alike
- Model company data in dbt on Redshift: layered, tested, documented models built to outlive you
- Ship and run the company KPI dashboard in Lightdash, plus self-serve analytics for every team
- Own metric modeling and propose the definitions the whole company runs on. Sign-off sits with data leadership, and you make every number defensible
- Keep the ingestion layer running day to day (Fivetran connectors, existing ETL jobs), in close coordination with engineering
- Act as a partner to our teams and turn ambiguous business questions from Finance, RevOps, Product, and CS into trusted, self-serve answers
- Shape the data foundation before the function scales. As a Head of (Internal) Data & AI and a further Engineers join, you set the standards they inherit and go deeper on the architecture the whole company trusts.
🤝 Your Skillset - What you bring to the table
- 4+ years owning analytics from the warehouse onwards (modelling, reporting, BI) in production, ideally as an early or founding data hire
- Deep SQL above all, plus strong dbt (layered models, tests, CI, semantic / metric layers)
- A cloud data warehouse in production (Redshift ideal; Snowflake or BigQuery with willingness to switch) and a BI tool people actually use
- Business-facing autonomy: you partner with non-technical stakeholders, propose and defend metric definitions, and ship without waiting for a data team to form around you
- You document, test, and monitor by default, and finishing the 10% that makes a model trustworthy
- You know how to leverage AI, you have a track record of automating & building workflows with AI.
🌱 Growing together - what you can expect at voize
- We are a fast-growing startup, that means you will tackle challenges, grow quickly, and make a real impact, giving frontline workers more time for people
- Become a co-creator of our success with stock options
- We foster an open, collaborative culture with regular team events, whether you work from our Berlin office or remotely across Germany
- Generous perks: 30 vacation days plus your birthday off, Germany Transport Ticket, Urban Sports Club, regular company off-sites, and access to learning platforms such as Blinkist and Audible, plus free language courses
- You decide when you work best, that means flexible working hours and a good hybrid set-up.
