This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Technical Solutions Architect based in the United States.
This is a senior-level pre-sales role focused on designing innovative solutions that improve web performance and digital experiences. You’ll act as a trusted technical advisor, partnering with customers to understand complex business and technology challenges. The role combines solution architecture, strategic consulting, technical sales, and industry thought leadership. You’ll support high-value opportunities while serving as a technical escalation point for complex customer engagements. You’ll work across cloud, edge computing, CDN, application performance, security, DevOps, and observability technologies. The position also offers opportunities to influence product strategy, enable technical teams, and shape solutions for evolving market needs. You’ll collaborate closely with Sales, Engineering, Product Management, and Solutions Engineering in a highly cross-functional environment.

Accountabilities:
- Lead technical go-to-market strategies and customer conversations for web performance solutions, aligning proposed architectures with business objectives and technical requirements.
- Serve as a pre-sales technology specialist and technical escalation point for strategic opportunities and complex customer accounts.
- Build trusted relationships with customers through a consultative approach, helping stakeholders identify challenges, evaluate options, and achieve measurable business outcomes.
- Act as a subject matter expert across one or more web performance domains and contribute expertise to complex sales opportunities.
- Support Solutions Engineering teams with sophisticated proof-of-concepts, architecture discussions, and escalated technical challenges.
- Influence technology and solution strategies spanning cloud and edge computing, DevOps, websites and mobile applications, real-user monitoring, CDN, and related performance technologies.
- Partner with Engineering and Product Management to provide customer and market insight that helps shape new products and influence existing product roadmaps.
- Lead pre-sales subject matter expert enablement initiatives within areas of specialization and other assigned technology domains.
- Maintain a strong understanding of competitive technologies and market positioning, providing guidance that helps internal teams differentiate solutions and win strategic opportunities.
Requirements:
- 8+ years of relevant professional experience, ideally in complex, customer-facing technology environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Demonstrated experience in technical pre-sales, solution architecture, consulting, or a comparable customer-facing technical role.
- Strong experience working with large and complex enterprise customers and navigating sophisticated technical and business requirements.
- Practical knowledge of proxy architectures, malware, endpoint protection, and threat mitigation techniques.
- Solid understanding of core internet and application technologies, including TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS, DNS, APIs, CI/CD, and cloud computing architectures.
- Experience with enterprise architectures, cloud security, SAML, OIDC, identity providers, authentication, and authorization.
- Strong ability to translate complex technical concepts into compelling business outcomes and solution strategies.
- Excellent presentation, communication, stakeholder-management, and influencing skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both highly technical and executive audiences.
- Strategic thinking, commercial awareness, curiosity, and the ability to operate confidently in complex, fast-moving environments.

- Base salary for US-based candidates of $119,600–$215,400 per year, depending on factors such as experience, skills, certifications, and location.
