Technical Writer – Analytics Enablement (Software company)

We are looking for a Technical Writer – Analytics Enablement for an important software company located in Barcelona.

Responsabilities:

• Technical Documentation: Create, maintain, and improve technical documentation for enterprise data products. Act as a primary contributor to the Customer Analytics Knowledge Network (CAKN), creating and maintaining documentation using a Docs-as-Code approach, including Markdown and Git-based workflows. Contribute to the Certified Customer Data Professional (CCDP) learning paths with technical documentation and various other forms of content.

• Content Development: Create and maintain a variety of content formats, including technical documentation, knowledge articles, visual guides, presentations, and short video tutorials to support learning, self-service, and adoption of enterprise data and analytics capabilities.

• Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with Data Analysts, Data Engineers, Analytics Engineers, Product Owners, and business stakeholders to gather requirements and produce content.

• Knowledge Management: Help establish documentation standards, templates, governance processes, and best practices that improve content quality, consistency, and discoverability.

• Quality Assurance: Perform quality reviews of documentation and learning content to ensure accuracy, completeness, consistency, usability, and alignment with enterprise standards. Establish review processes and work with subject matter experts to validate content before publication.

• Enablement & Adoption: Support self-service analytics and data literacy initiatives by creating clear, accessible documentation and learning content that drives adoption of enterprise data assets.

• AI-Assisted Content Development: Leverage modern AI tools to improve documentation quality, content creation efficiency, video development, research, summarization, and workflow productivity while ensuring governance and accuracy standards are maintained.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Technical Communication, English, Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

• 3+ years of experience in technical writing, documentation, knowledge management, learning content development, quality assurance, or a related role.

• Proven experience creating technical documentation for software, analytics, data, or technology-focused organizations.

• Strong written communication and editing skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, user-friendly documentation and learning content.

• Experience creating content in multiple formats, including written documentation, presentations, and short instructional videos.

• Experience performing content reviews and quality assurance activities to ensure accuracy and consistency.

• Experience working with technical subject matter experts and managing documentation throughout its lifecycle.

• Knowledge of Markdown and working within Docs-as-Code environments, as well as experience with documentation platforms such as Confluence and SharePoint etc.

• Experience using Git-based version control systems and documentation repositories.

• Strong organizational, stakeholder management, and collaboration skills.

• Familiarity with analytics, business intelligence, data engineering, data governance, or enterprise data concepts is preferred. Knowledge of SQL and Snowflake is also preferred.

• Experience developing learning content and supporting enablement programs is preferred.

• Experience using modern AI-powered tools such as ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude, Gemini, or similar technologies to enhance writing and productivity is highly desirable.
