The Opportunity
The Sales Finance Jr. Analyst provides financial planning, reporting, and analytical support for Strategic Grocery customers. This role partners closely with Finance and Commercial teams to deliver insights that drive business performance, support forecasting processes, and improve decision-making. The position offers broad exposure to customer finance, revenue growth management, forecasting, and business partnership, making it an excellent opportunity for an early-career finance professional looking to develop a strong foundation in commercial finance.
Responsibilities
Your Impact
- Support financial planning, forecasting, and reporting activities for Strategic Grocery customers and key business partners.
- Maintain and enhance financial models, dashboards, and reporting tools to provide timely business insights.
- Analyze sales, volume, pricing, and customer performance trends to identify risks, opportunities, and key business drivers.
- Assist in the preparation of weekly, monthly, and periodic business reviews, including management presentations and performance commentary.
- Partner with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Commercial Finance, Revenue Growth Management, and Customer Finance, to support decision-making and business planning.
- Support forecasting and planning processes, ensuring data accuracy and timely submission of financial deliverables.
- Participate in ad hoc financial analyses and strategic projects to improve business performance and processes.
- Identify opportunities to simplify, standardize, and automate reporting and financial processes.
Qualifications
Who Are We Looking For?
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
- 0-2 years of experience in Finance, Accounting, FP&A, Analytics, or related areas.
- Internship, co-op, or project experience in Finance, Accounting, Data Analytics, or a business-related function preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret and summarize data.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Demonstrated curiosity, learning agility, and desire to build a career in Finance.
