The Opportunity:
UKG Ready is seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead the strategy, execution, and continuous evolution of capabilities across Human Resources, Benefits, and connected workforce experiences.
This role is ideal for someone who combines strong product thinking with deep Human Capital Management expertise and a passion for solving complex customer problems. Whether your background comes from Product Management, Professional Services, Solution Consulting, Business Analysis, or Enterprise Software Delivery, you'll bring valuable customer insight that helps shape products used by thousands of organizations.
You'll partner closely with Engineering, UX, Customer Success, Professional Services, Support, Sales, and customers themselves to design intuitive experiences that simplify HR administration, modernize Benefits management, and improve connected experiences across the UKG ecosystem.
What You'll Do
Product Leadership:
- Define and prioritize product capabilities across HR, Benefits, and connected platform experiences.
- Partner with Product Leadership to shape product vision, roadmap priorities, and long-term investment strategy.
- Translate customer problems into clear product requirements, epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Balance customer needs, business priorities, technical constraints, and market opportunities when making product decisions.
- Measure product success through customer outcomes, adoption metrics, operational improvements, and business impact.
Customer & Domain Leadership:
- Develop deep empathy for customers by partnering with Professional Services, Customer Success, Support, Sales, and Design to understand operational workflows and business challenges.
- Partner directly with enterprise customers to validate product concepts and shape future product direction.
- Define capabilities that simplify complex HR and Benefits administration while reducing implementation effort and improving customer self-service.
- Bring deep HCM domain knowledge into product decisions, helping Engineering build solutions that solve real customer problems.
Connected Experiences & Integrations:
- Define scalable experiences that connect UKG with partner ecosystems and third-party platforms.
- Partner with Engineering to design APIs, integrations, and data exchange capabilities that improve interoperability and customer value.
- Collaborate across multiple product teams to deliver seamless end-to-end customer experiences.
AI-Driven Product Development:
AI is transforming every stage of software development—and Product Management is no exception.
Success in this role requires curiosity, adaptability, and enthusiasm for leveraging AI throughout the product development lifecycle.
You'll:
- Use AI to accelerate customer research, product discovery, competitive analysis, documentation, requirements development, backlog management, release planning, and product communication.
- Partner effectively with Engineering teams operating in AI-assisted software development environments.
- Apply critical thinking and sound judgment by validating AI-generated outputs and ensuring product quality.
- Continuously explore emerging AI capabilities that improve customer outcomes, product quality, and delivery speed.
- Help evolve UKG's product management practices as AI reshapes how software is designed and built.
Required Qualifications:
- Demonstrated success leading complex software initiatives through Product Management, Solution Consulting, Professional Services, Business Analysis, Implementation Leadership, or other customer-facing enterprise SaaS roles.
- Strong domain expertise in Human Capital Management, with preference for Benefits, HR, Employee Lifecycle, or related workforce management solutions.
- Experience translating customer challenges into scalable software capabilities and influencing cross-functional teams to deliver business outcomes.
- Proven ability to partner directly with enterprise customers to understand workflows, validate solutions, and influence product direction.
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience collaborating within Agile software development environments.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.
- Demonstrated curiosity, adaptability, and enthusiasm for learning and applying AI as part of modern product management practices.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience as a Product Manager or Product Owner for enterprise SaaS products.
- Experience owning product roadmaps, prioritizing backlogs, and delivering software throughout the product lifecycle.
- Deep understanding of U.S. Benefits administration, Open Enrollment, eligibility, carrier connectivity, or related HCM processes.
- Experience delivering enterprise HR, Payroll, or Benefits software.
- Experience defining APIs, integrations, and connected enterprise experiences.
- Experience bringing new products or significant product enhancements to market.
- Experience using AI-enabled tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Microsoft Copilot, or similar technologies to improve product discovery, planning, documentation, prioritization, and execution.
- Experience working with configuration-driven enterprise software and customer implementations.

The pay range for this position is €31,200 to €42,100 gross annual. The actual base pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge and work location. In addition to base pay, employees may be eligible to participate in a performance-based bonus plan and to receive restricted stock unit awards as part of total compensation.
