Full description
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Visual Designer (AI-Native) based in United States.
The Visual Designer will define and elevate the visual identity of an emerging AI security category. This is a highly hands-on role combining brand identity, visual communication, web experiences, motion, and technical storytelling. You will use generative AI, automated workflows, and traditional design tools to move rapidly from concepts to polished production assets. Working closely with founders, Product, Engineering, and GTM teams, you will shape how complex AI and security concepts are understood visually. Your work will span product launches, technical brand systems, interactive web experiences, threat reports, campaigns, and executive presentations. The environment is fast-moving and highly collaborative, with significant ownership and short feedback loops. You will help establish a new visual language for agentic AI security while continuously experimenting with emerging creative technologies.
\n
Accountabilities:
- Own and evolve the visual identity and design language across brand, marketing, product, and communications.
- Establish a distinctive, precise, modern visual system that communicates advanced AI security concepts with clarity.
- Integrate generative AI tools, AI-powered vector generation, automated workflows, and other emerging technologies into daily design processes.
- Use tools such as Midjourney, Runway, Stable Diffusion, ComfyUI, ChatGPT, Claude, generative code, and related technologies to accelerate creative exploration and execution.
- Transform AI-generated concepts and media into polished, production-ready visual assets.
- Translate complex security concepts, including multi-agent orchestration, threat graphs, and adversarial techniques, into compelling visual metaphors and communication systems.
- Create diagrams, data visualizations, motion graphics, and other visual storytelling assets for technical subjects.
- Design high-quality marketing pages, interactive landing pages, campaign assets, and digital experiences.
- Develop compelling visual narratives and executive presentations for senior security and technology audiences.
- Create product launch materials and supporting visual collateral across multiple channels.
- Develop dark-mode technical brand systems and other visual frameworks suited to modern security products.
- Produce interactive threat reports and other content that makes complex technical information accessible and engaging.
- Partner directly with Product, Engineering, GTM, and leadership teams throughout the creative process.
- Participate in rapid feedback cycles and iterate quickly based on stakeholder and user needs.
- Maintain a consistently high level of craftsmanship, visual consistency, and attention to detail.
- Explore emerging design technologies and identify opportunities to improve creative workflows and output.
- Continuously refine design processes to increase speed without compromising quality.
- Help establish a scalable visual language and design system for a growing technology category.
Requirements:
- 3–6+ years of professional experience in visual design, brand identity, communication design, graphic design, or a closely related discipline.
- Strong experience developing visual identities and communication systems, ideally within a high-growth technology startup, leading agency, or innovative technology environment.
- Demonstrated expertise in typography, layout, color theory, data visualization, and motion design.
- A portfolio showcasing exceptional visual craftsmanship, aesthetic judgment, and polished production work.
- Experience using generative AI tools as an integrated part of a professional design workflow.
- Ability to prompt, iterate, refine, and art-direct AI-generated imagery and media to production-grade standards.
- Familiarity with AI image generation, motion generation, vector generation, generative code, and automated creative workflows.
- Ability to combine AI-native workflows with traditional professional design software.
- Strong visual storytelling skills and the ability to communicate sophisticated technical concepts through intuitive design.
- Genuine curiosity about complex technical systems, AI, cybersecurity, LLM reasoning, threat vectors, and multi-agent architectures.
- Ability to quickly understand unfamiliar technical subjects and translate them into clear visual narratives.
- Strong ability to work independently, make design decisions, and take ownership from concept through final execution.
- Comfortable operating in ambiguous, fast-paced environments with continuously changing priorities.
- Ability to work at a high pace and move from idea to polished execution within hours or days rather than extended project cycles.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills when working with founders, Product, Engineering, GTM, and other stakeholders.
- Willingness to experiment rapidly, learn new tools, and continuously evolve creative approaches.
- A portfolio link or relevant work samples must be included with the application.
- Portfolio materials should demonstrate both finished visual work and examples of the design process, including how AI tools are integrated alongside traditional design methods.
Benefits:
- Opportunities to work remotely across North America, with some roles also available in an office environment.
- Meaningful equity in addition to salary.
- 90% employer-paid medical, dental, and vision coverage.
- 75% employer-paid coverage for eligible dependents.
- Flexible paid time off.
- 12 weeks of fully paid maternity leave for birth, adoption, or foster placement.
- 8 weeks of fully paid paternity leave.
- $100 monthly lifestyle account supporting fitness, wellness, learning, and other eligible activities.
- $500 home office stipend for remote employees.
- Opportunity to work at the intersection of AI, cybersecurity, visual design, and emerging technology.
- High-ownership environment with direct collaboration and rapid feedback loops.
