About the Role We are seeking a proactive and analytical Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Senior Analyst to join our team, reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer. This role is pivotal in driving financial efficiency, providing strategic insights, and supporting decision-making processes across the organization. The FP&A Senior Analyst will partner with leadership to optimize resources, manage capital investments, and maintain a robust financial framework that aligns with the company’s strategic goals. This is a high-visibility, 100% hands-on individual contributor role — you will personally build the models, reports, and dashboards — for someone who is deeply data-oriented and can translate complex financial and operational data into clear, decision-ready insights.

Key Responsibilities:

Cost Control & Optimization ● Monitor and manage operating costs across departments. ● Identify areas for cost reduction and process efficiency. ● Collaborate with leadership to implement cost-saving initiative

Capex Control & Management ● Oversee and manage capital expenditure (Capex) budgets. ● Evaluate proposed Capex investments for alignment with strategic goals. ● Ensure effective monitoring of approved Capex projects and provide post-mortem analysis.

Procurement Process Improvement ● Develop and refine procurement approval processes to enhance visibility on commitments. ● Drive efficiency and predictability in financial disbursement.

Budgeting, Forecasting & Variance Analysis ● Lead annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and long-term financial planning. ● Develop and update financial models and forecasts. ● Develop driver-based models for revenue (retail comp/new-store, wholesale sell-in, e-commerce), gross margin, inventory purchases, and operating expenses. ● Model new initiatives: gallery openings (build-out capex, tenant allowances, rent structures, ramp curves), new market entry, and channel expansion. ● Monitor actual performance against budgets and provide actionable insights. Financial Reporting ● Prepare and present regular financial reports to senior management. ● Highlight key performance indicators (KPIs), variances, and recommend actions. ● Support multi-currency consolidation analytics, including FX impact analysis (constant-currency reporting, translation vs. transaction effects) across USD, EUR, GBP, and JPY entities.

Data Analysis & Insights ● Conduct detailed financial analysis, including scenario, profitability, and cost-benefit analysis. ● Support decision-making with actionable data insights.

Business Partnering ● Collaborate with department heads and leadership to understand business drivers. ● Provide financial guidance on key initiatives to align with strategic goals.

Strategic Initiatives ● Support corporate strategy development through financial modeling and scenario analysis.

Ad Hoc Projects ● Lead or support ad-hoc financial projects as needed by senior management. Systems, Data & AI ● Serve as an FP&A power user of the ERP (NetSuite), including saved searches, SuiteAnalytics, and report building; help define requirements for planning tools and BI implementations. ● Automate and streamline recurring reporting through advanced Excel, Power Query/Power BI, or SQL; reduce manual work and improve data integrity

Key Requirements:

  • Experience or strong familiarity with leveraging AI tools in a finance context — using LLMs or AI-assisted features to draft analysis, build and debug formulas/queries, summarize data, or automate repetitive work — with sound judgment about accuracy, validation, and data confidentiality.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel; hands-on experience with a mid-market or enterprise ERP

(NetSuite strongly preferred), including report writing and data extraction.
