ARSIEM is looking for a motivated Senior Cybersecurity AI Developer to join our development team supporting Cybersecurity Defensive Operations. In this role, you will build innovative solutions and rapid prototypes that directly enhance the efficiency of operators protecting critical government agencies and Defense Industrial Base (DIB) resources. You will work side-by-side with mission operators, transforming their real-world challenges into advanced technical capabilities. By leveraging cutting-edge corporate AI resources, you will accelerate code development and deliver sophisticated analytical tools for systems vulnerability analysis, incident response, adversary emulation, and COMSEC monitoring. This position will support one of our government clients in Laurel, MD.

Responsibilities
- Build and prototype software that directly increases the speed and efficiency of defensive cyber operations.
- Work closely with mission operators to observe workflow challenges and design innovative technical solutions.
- Leverage Large Language Models (LLMs) and corporate AI resources to optimize development lifecycles and scale data analytics.
- Support critical workflows across vulnerability patching, incident response, and threat emulation.
Minimum Qualifications
- Master's degree +6 years, Bachelor's degree +8 years, Associate's degree +10 years, or High School diploma or GED +12 years of relevant experience.
- Relevant experience must be in the software development process (i.e., requirements analysis, software design, implementation, testing, integration, deployment/installation, and maintenance) and programming.
- Formal or informal leadership experience is preferred.
- Strong foundational experience in core software development methodologies.
- Proficiency in Python for application development, scripting, and data manipulation.
- Solid understanding of foundational cybersecurity concepts, defensive operations, or threat landscapes.
Preferred Qualifications
- Direct experience developing AI solutions and utilizing LLMs in production.
- Background in data engineering, data science, or advanced analytics.
- Experience with Splunk development, dashboard creation, or data ingestion pipelines.
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes or Rancher architectures.
- Experience orchestrating data pipelines using Apache Airflow.

The ARSIEM pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) job responsibilities, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other laws.
