Amazon Pharmacy India is seeking a creative, goal-oriented, and analytically rigorous Business Analyst to join our growing team. Amazon Pharmacy is scaling rapidly in India with multiple new feature launches, partner integrations, and category expansions planned over the next two years. This role is critical to enabling data-driven decision making across the business.
This is both a strategic and hands-on role. It requires an individual with excellent analytical abilities, deep knowledge of business intelligence solutions, strong business acumen, and the ability to collaborate effectively with product, category, and operations teams.
Key job responsibilities Reporting & Automation: Own complex reporting pipelines and automate reporting solutions to reduce manual effort and improve data freshness for category and business teams. Insight Generation: Analyze large, multi-source datasets to surface actionable insights and key business drivers that inform product roadmap, selection strategy, and CX improvements. Forecasting & Planning: Build and maintain forecasting models for product selection at node level, demand planning, and partner performance tracking. Data Triangulation: Integrate and reconcile data from multiple internal and external sources (3P partners across teleconsulting, prescription management, fulfillment, and health services) to create a unified, reliable view of business performance. Partner Data Enablement: Design and deliver seamless data visibility solutions for external partners, enabling them to access, interpret, and act on relevant business data. Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, category, operations, CX) to define KPIs, align on metrics, and drive accountability through data.
Basic Qualifications: - 3+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience - 5+ years of Excel (including VBA, pivot tables, array functions, power pivots, etc.) and data visualization tools such as Tableau experience - 3+ years of business or financial analysis experience - Bachelor's degree or equivalent - Experience defining requirements and using data and metrics to draw business insights - Experience with Excel - Experience with SQL - Experience making business recommendations and influencing stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications: - Experience with AWS solutions such as EC2, DynamoDB, S3, and Redshift - Experience in data mining, ETL, etc. and using databases in a business environment with large-scale, complex datasets
