About the Role
As a Windows & Doors Project Manager, you are responsible for overseeing all warranty, repair, and service-related work associated with window and door installations. You will serve as the primary point of contact for customers after installation, ensuring service requests are addressed promptly, professionally, and in accordance with company standards. This role is ideal for a highly organized, customer-focused professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes ownership of resolving issues efficiently. You will coordinate technicians, manage service schedules, monitor recurring issues, and ensure every customer receives a positive experience. Your efforts will directly impact customer satisfaction, company reputation, and the long-term success of the Windows & Doors division.
What You’ll Do
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers throughout their project lifecycle.
- Coordinate project timelines, materials, and scheduling with installation crews and subcontractors.
- Track and update project status in company systems, ensuring accurate and timely information.
- Assist with permit applications, inspections, and compliance documentation.
- Work closely with sales, production, and customer service teams to ensure seamless handoffs and excellent communication.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering materials as needed.
- Prepare and distribute daily, weekly, and monthly project reports for management.
- Resolve scheduling conflicts and troubleshoot project delays as they arise.
- Maintain accurate records of all communications, changes, and approvals.
- Support process improvements to increase efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Skills & Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in construction project coordination or a related field.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and service requests simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
- Ability to problem solve and make sound decisions independently
- Proficiency with CRM systems, scheduling software, and Microsoft Office or Google Workspace
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record (insurable under company policy)
- Ability to travel regularly throughout company service areas
- Experience in project management, service management, or warranty administration (preferred)
- Experience in windows, doors, construction, home improvement, or related industries (preferred)
- Knowledge of residential installation practices and building materials (preferred)
- Experience managing technicians, subcontractors, or service crews (preferred)
- Familiarity with manufacturer warranty processes and claims management (preferred)
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
