- Building end-to-end solutions and APIs used across a variety of channels (e.g. internal tools and apps, customer-facing websites and apps), utilising industry best practices and leveraging the latest technologies where possible
- Automating business processes so our staff can focus on the really important stuff
- Working closely with stakeholders, taking part in all stages of the software development life cycle
- Solving interesting performance and architectural challenges
- Writing clean, maintainable code, following best practices and adhering to coding standards
- Working on special projects as directed by the Network Automation Manager
- Communicating and coordinating with internal departments
- Attending all relevant meetings, training or information sessions conducted by Aussie Broadband
- Performing code reviews
Qualifications

- Extensive experience (5 years) in Golang development building production grade applications
- Experience with containerised solutions
- Developing distributed systems and processing
- Practical understanding of the Golang Toolchain
- Utilising external event buses and caches
- Implementing workflow tools
- CI/CD experience
- Postgres implementations
- Working knowledge of OpenAPI and OpenTelemetry implementations
- Visualisation of collected metrics, logs and tracing
- Familiarity with Kubernetes and Helm concepts
- Familiarity with Networking concepts, DNS, DHCP, TACACS, RADIUS
- Familiarity with configuring Cisco IOS-XR
- Integration with Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions
- Strong communication skills
- You thrive in a remote environment and can operate independently
