Function Description / Professional Tasks
We are looking for an experienced and proactive DevOps / Platform Engineer to join our team and help drive the evolution of our cloud-native platform and deployment processes. You will work closely with engineering teams to ensure reliable, scalable, and efficient application delivery while promoting DevOps best practices across the organization.
The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise in Kubernetes and modern CI/CD tooling with excellent communication skills, a structured way of working, and a passion for automation, observability, and continuous improvement.
You will be part of a collaborative engineering environment where you can make a direct impact on platform reliability, developer productivity, and delivery excellence. We value ownership, continuous learning, knowledge sharing, and a strong DevOps mindset focused on automation and innovation.
What you can do: − Maintain, optimize, and innovate our software delivery pipeline with a strong focus on Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD). − Manage and enhance Kubernetes-based application platforms and deployment processes. − Implement and maintain GitOps practices using tools such as ArgoCD. − Develop and improve deployment templates and configurations using Helm and Kustomize. − Monitor platform and application health through Grafana and telemetry solutions. − Analyze operational and telemetry data to proactively identify, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues. − Drive improvements in testing and quality assurance practices, including performance testing, security assessments, and interface testing. − Automate repetitive operational and engineering tasks to improve team productivity and reliability. − Partner with development teams to optimize applications for production workloads, performance, scalability, and resilience. − Contribute to operational excellence, documentation, and knowledge sharing within the team. − Help establish structure, standards, and best practices across platform and engineering processes. What you will bring: − Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes − Experience with CI/CD pipelines, preferably using GitLab CI − Experience with ArgoCD and GitOps deployment methodologies − Experience with Helm and/or Kustomize − Knowledge of monitoring and observability tools, particularly Grafana − Strong team player who can quickly integrate into an existing team environment − Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting capabilities − Ability to bring structure and clarity to complex technical environments − Strong communication and stakeholder management skills − Passion for knowledge sharing and mentoring teammates − Self-driven and capable of working independently − Strong sense of ownership and accountability − Well-organized with the ability to effectively prioritize and manage tasks
Nice-to-have: − Experience developing or supporting Spring Boot applications − Knowledge of Oracle Database − Experience engineering and operating enterprise-grade Spring Boot applications − Understanding of cloud-native architectures and microservices environments − Familiarity with performance testing, security testing, and automated quality controls
Education − University/technical college degree in computer science or comparable.
