As a Data Engineer, you are responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the infrastructure and systems required for data storage, processing, and analysis. Your goal is to build and manage reliable, efficient data pipelines that support seamless data integration, transformation, and delivery for users across the enterprise. Your success is defined by creating robust, scalable data processes that ensure data is accurate, accessible, and consistently delivered to meet the needs of all data consumers.

Your Responsibilities: 

  • Design and develop data pipelines to extract, transform, and load data into appropriate storage systems
  • Collaborate with data architects and analysts to optimize models, algorithms, and governance practices
  • Integrate data from diverse sources such as databases, data warehouses, APIs, and external systems
  • Ensure data consistency and integrity through validation, cleaning, and quality checks
  • Transform raw data using cleansing, aggregation, filtering, and enrichment techniques
  • Optimize data pipelines and processing workflows for performance, scalability, and efficiency
  • Monitor and tune data systems, resolving performance bottlenecks through caching and indexing strategies
  • Take responsibility for leveraging enterprise information assets and analytics to support decision‑making and automation
  • Work with stakeholders to establish a vision for managing data as a business asset and governing data and algorithms used for analysis

Your Experience: 

  • College diploma or university degree in computer science, information systems, or computer engineering, with 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering or a similar role
  • Hands‑on experience across core data engineering disciplines, including data integration, modeling, optimization, data quality, and working with data lakes, data warehouses, and enterprise data platforms such as Microsoft Fabric and Purview
  • Proficiency with modern data technologies, including SQL, database platforms (Oracle, MS SQL, DB2, Sybase), Azure Data Factory, Dataflow Gen2, Microsoft Azure, and visualization tools like Power BI

The expected salary range for this position is $66,267 - $87,804. Placement within the range will be based on relevant experience, qualifications and skills.
