  • Salary: Up to £85,000 per annum + Annual Bonus
  • Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
  • Location: Warrington/London with regular travel across the Healthcare LIFT portfolio

Kudos Services is a specialist facilities management provider delivering high-quality Hard FM services across complex healthcare environments. We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Head of Engineering to lead our Engineering & Maintenance team across our Healthcare LIFT portfolio.

Key Requirements

  • Significant experience managing Hard FM services across complex, multi-site estates within a PPP/PFI environment, ideally healthcare.
  • Strong technical knowledge of building services engineering, statutory compliance and healthcare maintenance requirements, including HTMs and HBNs.
  • Proven leadership experience managing engineering teams, contractors and multiple stakeholders.
  • Commercially aware, with experience of performance management, contract delivery and budget accountability.
  • HNC/HND (or equivalent) in a Mechanical, Electrical or Building Services Engineering discipline.

About the Role

Reporting directly to the CEO, this is a senior leadership role responsible for the strategic and operational management of Engineering & Maintenance services across our Healthcare LIFT portfolio.

You will lead the Engineering Team, ensuring the safe, compliant and effective delivery of Hard FM services whilst maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction and contractual performance. Working closely with Contract Managers and the Compliance Team, you will oversee statutory compliance, technical governance, engineering performance and quality assurance across the estate.

You will act as the lead representative for engineering audits and technical reviews, ensuring robust processes, clear audit trails and full compliance with contractual and statutory obligations. The role will also take ownership of engineering reporting, resource planning, contractor performance, asset management and lifecycle activities.

As a key member of the senior leadership team, you will contribute to commercial and financial performance, supporting budget setting, forecasting, procurement activities and business-wide continuous improvement initiatives.

You thrive in complex, highly regulated environments and have a proven track record of delivering engineering services within healthcare, PPP or PFI contracts.

You are commercially aware, solutions-focused and capable of balancing strategic priorities with day-to-day operational demands. You are committed to maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality and compliance whilst developing strong working relationships with colleagues, clients and partners.
