Java Developer

We are looking for an experienced Java Developer with 5–10 years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise-grade applications. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in Java and Spring Boot, along with proven experience working in the banking or financial services domain. You will play a key role in building secure, scalable, and high-performance applications that support mission-critical banking operations.

As part of a collaborative engineering team, you will contribute to the full software development lifecycle, from requirement analysis and system design to implementation, testing, deployment, and production support. This role requires excellent problem-solving skills, a deep understanding of backend development, and the ability to deliver reliable solutions in a fast-paced Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.

• Build and enhance RESTful APIs and microservices to support banking products and services.
• Collaborate with business analysts, architects, QA engineers, and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Develop secure and resilient applications that comply with banking and financial industry standards.
• Optimize application performance, reliability, and scalability through efficient coding practices.
• Integrate applications with databases, third-party services, and enterprise systems.
• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and architecture planning.
• Troubleshoot production issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following industry best practices.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and support application deployment across multiple environments.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and recommend improvements to existing systems.

Required Qualifications• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• 5–10 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Java with solid knowledge of object-oriented programming principles.
• Extensive experience building applications using Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA, and Spring Security.
• Hands-on experience in the banking or financial services domain, including knowledge of banking workflows, payment systems, transaction processing, or lending platforms.
• Strong experience in developing REST APIs and microservices.
• Good understanding of SQL and relational databases such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
• Familiarity with messaging technologies such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or JMS is an advantage.
• Experience with Git, Maven, Gradle, and modern development tools.
• Understanding of cloud platforms, containerization, and CI/CD practices is preferred.
• Strong analytical, debugging, and communication skills.
