Job Description
As an apprentice, you'll work alongside experienced engineers to install, maintain and fault-find on the following systems:
- Access Control
- Video Surveillance
- Intruder Alarms
- Fire Alarms
Entry Requirements
- Full UK Drivers Licence
- Pass an Enhanced DBS check
- Happy to travel where required
- Prior experience is advantageous but not essential
- Electrical Installation Level 2/3 is advantageous but not essential
- Please note that the wage will be dependant on experience
- Must be able to pass a medical check due to site restrictions
- Knowledge of fire extinguishers is advantageous
Training to be Provided
This is where you'll learn the skills that employers actually want.
Your apprenticeship training is delivered by Skills for Security, specialists in fire and security training.
You’ll train through block release at our Watford/Dagenham center, for one week every eight weeks (Tuesday–Friday).
You’ll work towards a Level 3 Fire, Emergency & Security Systems Technician apprenticeship, gaining real skills and a nationally recognised qualification.
