We are seeking an experienced Technology Project Manager with a strong agile background. This role will be responsible for managing projects of varying complexity that drive value across several lines of business. Successful candidates will establish themselves as leaders capable of effectively partnering with business stakeholders and cross-functional technology teams to deliver software solutions.

The candidate should be an experienced Project Manager/Scrum Master who excels in using JIRA .  

Key Responsibilities:

Analyze and understand business strategy and high priority goals, so you understand the ‘big picture” and purpose of a project. Engage with appropriate stakeholders to facilitate agreement on objectives and success measures, ensuring project objectives are met. Define realistic project plans with input from Dev and BA project leads, ensuring a mutual understanding of delivery commitments Track key milestones while developing, maintaining, and reporting on an overall integrated delivery plan. Support delivery team with navigating ambiguity when transitioning from project assessment to early initiation. Demonstrate self-awareness and accountability while also holding others accountable to deliver on schedule. Serve as a subject matter expert in routinely briefing key stakeholders, steering committees, and Development leadership to facilitate decisions.

Partner with stakeholders to understand their needs and use that knowledge to drive effective prioritization of scope and backlogs. Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams (Business Analysts, Developers, Quality Analysts and Product Owners) to ensure functional and non-functional requirements, technical designs, and test plans will achieve the product vision and the business’ needs in accordance with the SDLC process. Facilitate sprint and project retrospectives, integrating feedback into the team’s ways of working and delivery commitments. Assist the delivery team with preparing for sprint demos, ensuring the team is following demo guidelines and meeting the sprint definition of done. Coordinate warranty activities and transfer of backlogs with the operational team.  Manage relationships with 3rd party vendors, including RFQs, contract negotiations,  invoice payment and tracking.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field; Master’s degree is a plus.

A minimum of 5 years of substantial project management experience and 3+ years of experience managing custom software development projects and product launches with a proven track record of successful project delivery under tight deadlines.

Exceptional problem-solving abilities and analytical skills.

Strong English communication skills, with a talent for building relationships and managing stakeholder expectations.

Experience with Waterfall and Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Advanced Competent in Agile tracking tools such as JIRA.

Preferred Qualifications:

Certified Scrum Master

Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent.

Consulting experience highly preferred.
