Full description

To support our e-development team, based in Berlin headquarters, we are looking for YOU – UX / UI Designer (m/f/d) – Web & Digital Experience.

Your Canvas / Your Job

  • Design and iterate on mockups, wireframes, and high-fidelity prototypes for our websites and digital touchpoints.
  • Own the visual language of our web presence – from first click to final booking.
  • Collaborate closely with Frontend, Marketing, and Product – from brief to pixel-perfect handoff.
  • Run usability checks and translate user feedback into sharp, actionable design decisions.
  • Work with modern AI-powered design tools and use them to move faster and smarter.
  • Contribute to projects rethinking what a hostel brand can look and feel like online.

What You Bring / Your Profile

  • Figma is your home turf – and tools like Canva are a welcome addition to your kit.
  • You think in user flows, not just pretty screens.
  • You know how to design for the web – responsive layouts, accessibility, and developer handoff included.
  • You're already using AI tools in your design workflow – and actively looking for more ways to leverage them.
  • You communicate your design decisions clearly – to devs, to marketers, to stakeholders.
  • Bonus points if you're passionate about travel, hospitality, and pushing creative boundaries.

What’s in It for You

  • A small, collaborative team – no 10-layer feedback maze.
  • Real ownership of your designs and plenty of creative freedom.
  • Modern tools, flat hierarchies, and fast decisions.
  • An international environment + projects with real impact (Hospitality + E-Commerce).
  • Designs that don't vanish into a drawer – they're live and seen by millions of users.

ADDITIONAL YOUR BENEFITS

  • 75% - 90% discount on private accommodation in all hostels (depending on length of service)
  • Up to 1 day of home office per week possible (in consultation with your line manager)
  • Attractive corporate benefits and discounted leisure activities and events
  • Subsidised language courses
  • Subsidised company pension scheme
  • 100% coverage of your public transport costs (job ticket)
  • Support for your further training in the form of various training courses
  • Mental health: We offer you free and anonymous mental health coaching from our independent partner “nilo” (www.nilohealth.com), who will support you with professional, private and health challenges
  • Of course, we provide drinks, fruit and vegetables every day
  • Long-service bonuses in the form of cash bonuses and additional holiday days
