About us At Booking.com, data drives our decisions. Technology is at our core and innovation is everywhere. But our company is more than datasets, lines of code or A/B tests. We’re the thrill of the first night in a new place. The excitement of the following morning. The friends you make. The journeys you take. The sights you see. And the food you sample. Through our products, partners and people, we can empower everyone to experience the world.
Our Strategic Partnerships department is the B2B and B2B2C demand engine, building the Connected Trip for thousands of demand partners and their customers globally, integral to Booking.com’s mission of making it easier for everyone to experience the world. We’re investing in our Platform products to unlock benefits from our existing Partner Centre to more partners.
Role description
We're looking for a Product Manager to drive a key part of the Partner Centre product area within Strategic Partnerships. You'll own the roadmap for how partners onboard, integrate, and manage their relationship with Booking.com — while meeting platform-grade reliability, privacy, and safety standards. You'll work within a broader product vision led by senior leadership, taking ownership of your area while staying aligned with the end-to-end partner experience. You'll work cross-functionally with teams across the business and partner with commercial teams to ship products used by some of the world's largest travel and consumer internet brands.
Key Job Responsibilities and Duties
- Define the strategy for one of our payout products to provide accurate and in-time affiliate fee calculation, defining a long-term plan that puts our products as a benchmark in dealing with complex use cases in the B2B Affiliate travel landscape;
- Excellent stakeholder management, ability to deal with ambiguity and define proper alignment with our Operations teams (Opex, Contracting and PayOps);
- Build and adapt the product strategy to the constantly evolving needs and constraints imposed by the business.
- Build for scale and multiple verticals by extending demand distribution capabilities beyond accommodations to support multi‑vertical partners through reusable services, abstractions, and APIs.
- Measuring and communicating the team’s progress and impact to the business leadership in a transparent and effective way. This includes defining key business and services success metrics, tracking them, and improving upon them.
- Guiding new capabilities, systems and services from inception to launch while keeping travelers and partners at the center of everything.
- Deeply understand the direction of the business and the problems customers face; extract and identify requirements from other business initiatives, customer requirements and prioritize them ruthlessly.
- Constantly engage with stakeholders to expand the coverage of the product and create impact.
- Work closely with key stakeholders to define and ship high quality products.
Role Qualifications and Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience in product management roles spanning across B2B and B2B2C
- Ability to articulate complex technical products as a clear and compelling narrative.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Be able to clearly communicate with the business at all levels.
- Strong technical background and experience with managing platform products and complex roadmap development.
- Excellent prioritization skills in time critical situations while balancing customer & business needs.
- The ability to zoom in as well as see a 10,000 ft view
- An analytical orientation and strong problem-solving skills demonstrated by the ability to structure issues and analyze alternative solutions.
- Team player with a bottom-up ideation process
