A growing firm looking to add a Roadway Project Manager to their team!
Responsibilities:
- Manage roadway/highway design projects from start
to finish (geometric design, drainage coordination, maintenance of traffic and traffic control plans)
- Prepare project scopes, budgets, and schedules
- Monitor progress of multiple projects, manage
risks, and implement corrective actions
- Lead internal multidisciplinary teams
- Serve as primary client contact for IDOT districts and local agencies
- Coordinate projects with utility companies,
permitting agencies, and other stakeholders
- Develop proposals, scopes, and fee estimates
for new pursuits
- Oversee QA/QC processes
- Ensure project documentation is complete and
accurate (calculations, meeting minutes, and deliverables)
- Mentor/train junior staff
Requirements:
- Bachelor
of Science or degree in Civil Engineering
- Master’s
degree preferred
- 8+
years of experience working on IDOT, Illinois Counties, and Illinois Local Agencies transportation projects
- Illinois Professional Engineer license
- Demonstrated
knowledge of IDOT standards, procedures, and project delivery process
- Ability
to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability
to maintain budget, schedule, and quality objectives
- Proficient
with roadway design tools such as MicroStation/OpenRoads or similar CAD platforms and Microsoft Office for project documentation and reporting
Salary is commensurate with experience.
