Your Team

We're looking for a motivated DevOps Intern to support and grow our infrastructure, automation, and CI/CD capabilities. The Secure Software IP team develops and tests state-of-the-art cryptographic libraries protected against physical and logical attacks, spanning all NXP domains and business lines — payment, identification, mobile, IoT, Automotive, Edge Processing, and more.

Your Responsibilities

  • Support automation of common software development processes (Build, Continuous Integration, Release Processes, etc.)
  • Assist with maintenance of CI infrastructure (Jenkins agents, farm machines and setups, etc.)
  • Support release and build preparation activities
  • Assist in SW development support and IT infrastructure interfacing
  • Contribute to configuration management and change control activities
  • Participate in continuous improvement of the DevOps toolchain
  • Help with process definition and documentation

Your Profile

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent
  • Basic understanding of software versioning tools, particularly Git
  • Familiarity with CI/CD concepts; hands-on experience with tools like Jenkins is a plus
  • Basic scripting skills in Python or similar languages
  • Any exposure to the Atlassian toolchain (Jira, Bitbucket, Confluence) is appreciated but not required
  • Curiosity about build systems and C project toolchains is a bonus
  • Good communication skills in English (written and spoken)
  • Eagerness to learn, take initiative, and contribute in a professional engineering environment

Contract: 1 year contract, with the possibility of part time or full time working.
