The Senior Performance Data Analyst is responsible for transforming digital marketing, customer and commercial data into actionable insights that drive customer acquisition, optimise marketing investment and improve commercial performance across the Dis-Chem digital ecosystem.
The role partners with Digital Marketing, Customer Intelligence, CRM, Ecommerce, Commercial, Data Engineering and Analytics teams to establish a trusted, enterprise-wide view of digital marketing performance. By integrating customer, campaign, behavioural and transactional data across paid media, owned channels, web, mobile applications and Customer Data Platforms, the role delivers strategic insights that improve marketing effectiveness and business outcomes.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR?
- Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Marketing Analytics, Commerce or related quantitative discipline
- 4–6 years' experience in Digital Analytics, Marketing Analytics, Customer Analytics or Business Intelligence
- Advanced SQL skills with strong experience analysing large, complex datasets.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including Power Query and Power Pivot
- Experience developing executive dashboards using Power BI or similar BI platforms
- Strong understanding of Digital Marketing measurement across Paid, Owned and Earned channels
- Experience working with Customer Data Platforms (CDPs) and customer-level marketing data
- Experience working with Digital Marketing, CRM and Ecommerce teams
- Strong stakeholder management and presentation skills
- Experience within Retail, Ecommerce or FMCG
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING?
- Develop and maintain the enterprise digital marketing measurement framework
- Achieve executive dashboard adoption across key business stakeholders
- Analyse customer acquisition, engagement, conversion, retention and loyalty performance
- Analyse experimental results and recommend optimisation actions
- Identify high-value customer segments
- Develop automated reporting solutions using Power BI and modern analytics platforms
