Job Description

What is the opportunity?

Join the Incentive Compensation Delivery (ICD) Team as a Senior Data Management Analyst and shape critical operational decisions relating to Salesforce employees' experience across RBC’s Personal Banking, Commercial Banking and Wealth Management.

The ICD team—80+ employees based in Meadowvale, Mississauga and Minneapolis —administers, reports on, and processes over $5 billion in variable compensation annually across 36 professional sales roles.  As part of the Process, Risk and Operational Intelligence team within ICD, you’ll work alongside colleagues who share a commitment to operational excellence, data integrity, and strategic compensation delivery. This is a collaborative environment where your contributions directly support organizational goals.  In this role, you’ll bridge the gap between raw operational data and strategic decision-making, ensuring our compensation programs remain aligned with business objectives. Your insights will directly influence how we allocate resources, optimize program delivery, and support thousands of Salesforce employees across North America.

This role offers career growth in a dynamic HR function. You’ll work with critical information, collaborate across business and technology teams, and develop innovative solutions that directly impact ICD strategy. If you’re a strategic thinker with strong communication skills and a passion for data-driven decision-making, we want to hear from you.

What will you do?

  • End-to-end analytics support for cross-functional initiatives, including data sourcing, lineage validation, and quality assessments
  • Analyze structured and unstructured datasets to solve complex business problems and develop scalable, verifiable solutions
  • Ensure data governance and compliance with enterprise standards and data management frameworks
  • Communicate complex technical insights to non-technical stakeholders to facilitate decision-making
  • Work independently to identify blockers, develop solutions, and escalate issues appropriately

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have:

  • A self-starter with high energy and a driven curiosity to go beyond the obvious and provide ideas for innovation
  • 3–5 years of professional experience in data engineering, analytics, reporting, or related role
  • Strong analytical and statistical skills; ability to investigate and explain trends and variances
  • Proficiency in data manipulation language (Python, SQL, etc.)
  • Technical fluency with analytics and reporting tools (Tableau, Power BI, Snowflake)
  • Experience with AI/agent frameworks
  • Expert knowledge of data governance frameworks and authoritative data source management
  • Proven ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to business leaders
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities in a collaborative environment

Nice-to-have:

  • Experience building and using AI/ML models, predictive analytics or statistical modeling to solve business problems
  • Knowledge of Confluence

What’s in it for you? We thrive on the challenge to be our best, progressive thinking to keep growing, and working together to deliver trusted advice to help our clients thrive and communities prosper. We care about each other, reaching our potential, making a difference to our communities, and achieving success that is mutual.

  • A comprehensive Total Rewards Program including bonuses and flexible benefits, competitive compensation, commissions, and stock where applicable
  • Leaders who support your development through coaching and managing opportunities.
  • Opportunities to do challenging work
  • Opportunities to take on progressively greater accountabilities
