Full description
Lyzr, in a minute
Lyzr is an enterprise software company that helps large organisations put AI agents software that handles real tasks on its own to work in their everyday operations. Most companies' AI projects never move past the pilot stage; Lyzr provides the platform that takes them into dependable, day-to-day use. Today, 500+ enterprises build on Lyzr, more than 1,000 agents run live in production, and 85% of Lyzr projects reach production against an industry average of roughly 30%. Customers include Accenture, WTW, Hitachi, and Verifone, and the company recently raised $100M at a $500M valuation.
Agentic software has no settled design language yet. How a person delegates work to an agent, follows what it did, and decides whether to trust the result are questions the industry is still answering. This role sits directly on those questions.
The role
You will design the surfaces enterprise teams use to build, run, and supervise AI agents. This is a product design role, not a visual execution role: you will be handed problems, not specifications, and you will be expected to frame them before you open Figma.
You will join a small design team, which means real scope from week one and no queue between you and the product decisions that matter.
- Team: Product
- Experience: 2–4 years
- Location & work mode: Bengaluru, hybrid
What will make you win this role
These are the core requirements the substance of the job.
- 2–4 years in product design, UI/UX, or interaction design. Shipped product work, not concept work. We will look at what went live and what changed because of it.
- Product thinking, evidenced. You can walk us through a problem you were given, how you framed it, the options you rejected, and why the version that shipped was the right one. Craft matters; judgement matters more.
- B2B SaaS, enterprise, or AI product experience. You have designed for users who are doing their job in your product, under constraints permissions, workflows, data density, edge cases not for consumers browsing.
- Interaction design and information architecture depth. Complex systems, dense states, and multi-step flows are where you are strongest. You think in systems, not screens.
- Fluent in Figma and modern prototyping tools. Figma at a production standard, plus whatever you use to make an idea feel real before it is built.
- Curiosity about AI and emerging interaction patterns. You have opinions about how people should work with agents, and you are actively forming them.
Cherry on top
Not screening criteria but they will make your first 90 days smoother.
- AI-native product design. You have designed agents, copilots, chat, or automation workflows and know where the usual patterns break.
- AI in your own design process. You use it to move faster and explore wider, and you can show where it helped and where it did not.
- 0→1 experience. You have built something from nothing inside a startup or a new product line.
- Design systems. You have built or scaled one, and you understand the maintenance cost as well as the leverage.
- A view on AI trust and transparency. Agent behaviour, explainability, human-in-the-loop control you have thought about what earns a user's confidence.
Life at Lyzr
- Benefits. Zomato meal allowance, an extensive PTO policy, and company-paid subscriptions to leading AI tools you work with the same tooling our customers rely on.
- Hybrid structure. Office days for collaboration and team problem-solving; remote days for deep, uninterrupted work.
- An exceptional team. You will work alongside genuinely strong engineers and operators the kind of colleagues who raise the level of everyone around them.
- Autonomy and ownership. We hire people who think like founders. You are given a problem and the space to drive your own outcomes and with them, your own growth.
- Everybody is a visionary. Ideas are evaluated on merit, not seniority. You lead projects, make decisions, and shape what Lyzr becomes.
How to apply
Apply through our careers page at careers.lyzr.ai, or send your resume to hiring@lyzr.ai. Send your portfolio with it we read those first. Two or three case studies you can defend end to end will tell us more than a gallery of screens.
